Your edit to Cincinnati has been reverted

This edit is very problematic.

First off you should probably read WP:OVERLINK. Once a term has been linked once it does not end to be linked again, and common terms like “German” don’t really need to be linked at all as most speakers of English are familiar with the term. You also used pipe linking with no apparent purpose, with the format [[Term|Term]] which just doesn’t actually do anything besides adding useless extra code to the article.

Worse, though was your many links to grossly incorrect places. Cincinnati is obviously not in the same statistical area as cities in Delaware and North Carolina. There was not a railroad specifically to connect Cincinnati with a river in California. Inclined street cars in Cincinnati did not transport people to a different city in Iowa. Those were all place names in the Cincinnati area, so your edit made the article demonstrably worse, not better.

I am assuming this was done out of an ignorance of these places and a desire to improve the article and not maliciousness, but please, be more careful in the future. Beeblebrox (talk) 17:26, 23 June 2018 (UTC)
