Request for Usurpation
editHello, Che Prasannakumar. A request has been made at Wikipedia:Changing username/Usurpations to usurp, or "take over", your username because you have not used it to edit, and another user would like to use it to edit. Wikipedia:Changing username/Usurpations says that any unused username may be usurped if the user is given an opportunity to object and does not do so.
If you have an email set in your preferences, you should be getting an email from a bureaucrat or changing username clerk explaining how to consent or object to this process.
If you do not object to being renamed to a new username in order for another user to use the name you currently have, please log in and post a reply here saying so (you may also tell us what username you would like to be renamed to, or we will provide you with a generic one).
If you do nothing: the request will be filled shortly, and your account will be moved to a generic username. You may request that it be moved to a new username of your choice at any time.
If you object to being renamed: please log in and make an edit to this page clearly stating that you object to usurpation.
Please note that even if your current username is usurped, you can still edit and your data will not be lost; your preferences, watchlist, and other user settings will be transferred to a new username.
Thank you for your time. Che Prasannakumar (talk) 18:22, 28 July 2010 (UTC)
Hi
editVanakkam Sir! :) I've seen most of your contributions to Wikipedia. I do appreciate the work you've done on Tamil Nadu and Tamil-related topics on Marathi Wikipedia. I also wish to thank you for adding Marathi transliteration of Serfoji I. However, as far as I can understand, "Serfoji" is his actual name in Marathi and "Sarapoji", itself, is only the Tamil pronunciation and should be used only in the Tamil transliteration. I understand that "-pa" to "-fa" variations and "-va" to "-ba" variations occur in most languages used in the world just like "j" to "y" variations. By the way, congrats once again, on the good job. Before saying bye, I wish to ask if it would be possible for your to translate the article Thanjavur Marathi people and T. Madhava Rao to Tamil for the Tamil-language Wikipedia as I'm poor in typing in Tamil script. Regards. -The EnforcerOffice of the secret service 09:46, 22 August 2010 (UTC)

Marathis of AP and Karnataka
editHi! I find that many times the term "Thanjavur Marathi" has been used to depict all Marathis who had settled in South India. I need a clarification to this regard. While the Marathi people of Kerala are certainly migrants from the Thanjavur region, the Marathis of Bangalore, Andhra Pradesh, or even Vellore, have nothing to do with Thanjavur. Now, is it right to call them Thanjavur Marathis? Or is there any alternate name for them?-The EnforcerOffice of the secret service 05:07, 11 July 2011 (UTC)
