Worker's compensation/wage charts edit

the "real compensation" chart is beyond misleading because not every job gets compensation (small businesses etc.) also you seem to have it backwards, the "compensation" is just increasing employer health care spending on employees (healthcare benefits as compensation) which doesn't in any way show that healthcare quality is increasing.

Wages are before spending, they're the payment you get, there's no way to intentionally decrease wages unless you ask for a wage reduction. What you seem to be getting confused are wages with income, which can change depending on how someone spends their money.

I'll give you some examples of why compensation is pointless:

Falkland Islands edit

I have reverted your changes on the Falkland Islands. The opening paragraph was achieved after long discussion to achieving a consensus and changes to it are reverted on sight. Please also note that there is a note in the header to this effect.

READ THIS FIRST!

================================================ edit

The first sentence has been established as a compromise consensus between many editors in a long and difficult discussion (see talk page). Trying to change the sentence will be reverted on sight without discussion by many of the editors part of the discussion. If you have overriding NEW arguments, please bring them to the talk page first! Also note that the NPOV tag is in place because this text and its sentiments are in dispute.

Please do not change it without discussing on the talk page. Justin talk 14:59, 20 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

The opening paragraph is factually wrong (Islas Malvinas is not Spanish for "Falkland Islands," it is Spanish for "Malouine Islands"). I do not need to approval of some ignorant propagandists in order to make such a change. Praetonia (talk) 20:53, 20 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

I would suggest you read WP:NPOV and while you're at it WP:NPA and WP:AGF. Referring to other editors as "ignorant propagandists" is not a good way to start on Wikipedia. Also what you appear to be doing is called edit warring, please refer to WP:3RR. Whilst you are welcome to become involved in the project engaging in edit wars and personal attacks is a fast track to a ban on wikipedia. Justin talk 22:38, 20 December 2007 (UTC)Reply
Facts are not a matter of perspective, my POV is irrelevent. The article says that the sentence is a "compromise". If you are compromising over matters of fact, well that is just propagandism. If wikipedia wants to ban any dissenting view then fine, it is private property afterall, but it can hardly then claim to be open source and a true community effort. Speedy deletion nomination of Wargame: European Escalation edit

This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information.

Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. A tag has been placed on Wargame: European Escalation requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.) or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

Dances with Aliens listed at Redirects for discussion edit

An editor has asked for a discussion to address the redirect Dances with Aliens. Since you had some involvement with the Dances with Aliens redirect, you might want to participate in the redirect discussion if you have not already done so. -- Tavix (talk) 01:00, 3 May 2017 (UTC)Reply
