Please remove my name from your comments on the KKG talk page. Your inclusion of it is interpretable as a personal attack on me, and it's unnecessary. You accused me of Kappa bashing, yet failed to note that in earlier that I had listed a number of women (Dr. Nancy Haigwood, Lori Gotleib, Candice B., Jane Blalock, Donna DeVarona, etc.) as noteworthy alums. You threatened me several months ago. If my name is not removed from the talk page, I will have to contact Wikipedia. I really don't want to do that.

Thank you for your attention to this.

Sincerely,

jimmyflathead

Jimmyflathead - In response to your post to my talk page - you are right that I singled you out on the kappa kappa gamma talk pages, that was probably unfair. There are others who have vandalized the page too - both deletion vandalism and trolls. However, I stand by my comment that most of the negative content on the page is merely there because you bullied folks with threats of adding negative content and through personal emails. I don't much care for the tone.

Furthermore, I can't understand the obsession. Why do you feel the need to add all this? Why Kappa? All the fraternity and sorority pages have ongoing vandalism, I just can't understand why you are so intent to contribute vandalism and negativity to ours. Just trying to correct what I perceive to be unfair bashing for no good reason. ppfleiger 05:31, 21 November 2006 (UTC)

PPfleiger: If I've added something untrue, then it should be removed immediately, and I regret that I added it without adequate research. I wonder if I would have been excoriated for simply adding noteworthy alums, only to have them removed. On a similar note, I see that Mariska Hargitay has been removed, yet her Wikipedia entry says that she was a member. If someone has publicly available information that she has renounced her membership, or done something that has caused her to be dismissed from the Fraternity, then I hope it would be mentioned in the Talk pages. The Fraternity has certainly initiated many who have made significant contributions later in their lives, but I felt that even some of the bad should be brought to light as well as some of the good. I would hope that you would be kind enough to Google "Nancy Haigwood AIDS" and see why I suggested adding her. She may not have a Wikipedia entry, but I believed that her accomplishments warranted inclusion. I wish you and your family a fine holiday season and a 2007 filled with blessings and good health.
