Hello. Welcome to edit articles about singer Camila Cabello!

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you. livelikemusic (TALK!) 01:29, 12 April 2021 (UTC)

I’m sorry, I was just trying to help :( I didn’t know I was the edits I made were disruptive on Wikipedia. Can you forgive me? DuaLipaFan23951 (talk) 04:52, 12 April 2021 (UTC)

  Please stop your disruptive editing.

If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, you may be blocked from editing. livelikemusic (TALK!) 23:47, 20 April 2021 (UTC)

Your recent editing history at Confetti (Little Mix album) shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See the bold, revert, discuss cycle for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. Regarding your recently created article

Hey, DuaLipaFan23951. I recently replaced your article Dangerous Levels of Introspection with a redirect to JP Saxe's discography. The album currently does not meet the criteria for notability at WP:GNG or WP:FUTUREALBUM, as nothing of note has been written about it. If you disagree with this decision, you can recreate the article with reliable sources supporting its notability. Orcaguy Talk Mon œuvre 14:36, 4 May 2021 (UTC)

Good 4 U moved to draftspace

An article you recently created, Good 4 U, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Speedy deletion nomination of Blue Banisters (Lana Del Rey album

A tag has been placed on Blue Banisters (Lana Del Rey album requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section R3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a recently created redirect from an implausible typo or misnomer, or other unlikely search term.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. signed, Rosguill talk 16:50, 11 May 2021 (UTC)

"Cry About It Later"

Hey. Tophit is an okay source, since it's a chart page. That's why I also didn't label "Cry About It Later" as an official single, since radio push in random countries isn't official release, it's a promotional release, so I think it's okay to call original version of the song a promotional single + it was labled as such by Rolling Stone. And that's the reason I made the caption for the cover art, since the original, at least in my opinion, was a promotional single. infsai (dyskusja) 07:11, 13 May 2021 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Draft:Montero (album)

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Draft:Montero (album) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from https://populartimelines.com/timeline/Lil-Nas-X. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

Creating redirects

Hi. Please don't create redirects if they are not mentioned at the target article, or if you are not going to insert a mention of the titles soon afterwards. You recently created redirects for the songs from Good Things (Dan + Shay album) and pointed the links to Dan + Shay discography, but the album tracks were not mentioned at that article. You should have waited, because these were not valid at the time you made them. Thanks. Ss112 02:19, 17 July 2021 (UTC)

I’m sorry, I saw other users do it, so I decided to give a try. Next time I’ll wait. Thank you for the reminder! :) PopLizard86427 (talk) 03:46, 17 July 2021 (UTC)

Your change to a commented-out message

In regards to this, nobody said it was. This was written by me before I even knew there was a discussion at the Ed Sheeran talk page. It was intended to stop editors from coming to the article and changing it without discussion. See User talk:134.215.168.72—I had even encouraged the main IP editor who had changed it to open a discussion because I was unaware of said discussion existing. I find it funny that you seem to believe I was deciding a consensus had been made to what was, at that time, only one editor posing a question. Nobody had even replied to it yet. I was referring to the existing disagreement on Talk:No.6 Collaborations Project. Editors had already discussed this, and nobody having an issue until today with the status of No.6 as a studio album was effectively a consensus. Ss112 16:51, 19 August 2021 (UTC)

Ok, I’m sorry, I didn’t know. PopLizard86427 (talk) 17:00, 19 August 2021 (UTC)

Please do not perform cut-and-paste moves

Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give Sweet Melody (song) a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into another page with a different name. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases for registered users, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you. File names

Hi. Please take more care with file names when you upload them. You don't have to capitalise them correctly, but your spelling errors ("I Am Not An Woman", "Wild Slide") are pretty glaring. Please also try to avoid using curly quotes (’), as these are not easily typed by the majority of Western keyboards (which use standard apostrophes, like '). Thanks. Fixed your talk page archiving

Hi! I took the liberty of fixing the auto-archiving settings at the top of this page. It looks like you accidentally substituted your entire talk page contents into the |archive= parameter. I've also added the archive box you can see at the top right of this page, which will automagically link to any archives that are created. --rchard2scout (talk) 07:17, 18 October 2021 (UTC)

Using footnotes

Hi. You added a footnote to the article for Between Us but did not add {{notelist}} or {{notelist-ua}} to the article. Footnotes do not display automatically; you need to add a template to make them display. That being said, this habit of editors in adding a detailed explanation of the different cover art of other editions in the caption= parameter of the infobox is better explained in prose, not in a footnote. I know it's been removed and reintroduced on Adele's recent articles, but it's really not good editing practice. Thanks. Ss112 09:58, 24 November 2021 (UTC)

I apologize. Thanks for telling me so I know in the future! PopLizard86427 (talk) 13:41, 24 November 2021 (UTC)

File names

Hi. Just letting you know, it's more helpful to title files with hyphens, not en dashes, as en dashes cannot be typed with keyboards. For example, you titled File:Jason Aldean – Macon, Georgia.png with an en dash. When a user does this, a bot automatically creates a redirect to the file with a hyphen in place of the en dash as they can't be typed. To make it more accessible to yourself and others, best just to stop using an en dash in file names. Ss112 12:19, 30 December 2021 (UTC)

GAN concern for Tangled Up (Girls Aloud album)

Hi, I noticed your GAN for Tangled Up (Girls Aloud album). However, I skimmed through the page history and saw that you made no contributions to the article. Although the article looks ready to be reviewed at first glance, it is preferable for an editor with extensive contributions on the article to nominate it per WP:GAN/I#N1, unless you are able to expand each section with additional information using reliable sources. This is to ensure that editors are able to immediately identify the appropriate sections to fix based on the reviewer's feedback and are familiar with the article's contents. Thank you. — Angryjoe1111 (talk) 07:13, 13 January 2022 (UTC)

Creating redirects

Hi there PopLizard, hope you're well. You created the redirect Colors (mixtape) and pointed it to YoungBoy Never Broke Again discography, but nowhere on the discography page is/was it mentioned. Please kindly ensure that when creating redirects in future that they are not only mentioned at the target page, buy that they are also appropriately sourced. If not, other users could nominate your redirects for deletion as it falls under WP:OR. Please also see WP:R for more information. Thank you. AshMusique (talk) 17:59, 15 January 2022 (UTC)

You appear to have copied parts of the Billboard source used in the lead on the article without denoting all of it as a quote, and then you copied directly from NME in the music video section without denoting all of it as a quote. I would be very careful doing this going forward as this is a copyright violation and against WP:COPYVIO. It can get you blocked if you continue to do it. Please start paraphrasing and putting things in your own words. If you do not have the skills to do this, I am sorry to say, but perhaps creating articles is not for you. Please seek consensus before changing the order/listing of singles on Romance (Camila Cabello album)

As you can clearly see from Talk:Romance (Camila Cabello album), changing the listing of singles on Romance (Camila Cabello album) is contentious. You have now made the same edit to several pop music articles, where you put two singles released on the same day in the single1= parameter. This is not correct to do, and you will need consensus to re-introduce per WP:BRD as you have now been reverted. You are causing other editors to cite this mistaken practice as precedent now and it needs to stop. Listing them on the same line implies a double A-side release. Double A-side singles are two songs issued on the same physical or digital single that are each intended to serve as singles in their own right, as distinct from one song being an A-side and one song being a B-side on the single. "Liar" and "Shameless" were not issued on the same digital single therefore are not a double A-side. Thank you. Ss112 12:31, 14 February 2022 (UTC)

As another editor has already said to you: Please add a mention to the target article when creating redirects

Hi PopLizard. In January, @AshMusique: asked you to add a mention to the target article when creating redirects. You have again not done this, as you created Hive (album) as a redirect to Sub Urban (musician) but there is still not a mention of that album there. Please start doing so or your redirects can be nominated for deletion at WP:RFD. I see you making plenty of edits, even correcting where the redirect pointed to—therefore you have the time to check whether there is a mention of the redirect you're creating at the article you're pointing it to. Thank you. Ss112 15:00, 12 May 2022 (UTC)

Where is the source?

I asked you last month to source material at the target article for redirects you made. AshMusique did so in January. Where is the source for Hot Shit (Cardi B song) at Cardi B discography? If you continue this practice I will raise your edits with an administrator. You have an obligation to add sourced material justifying a redirect at the target article. If you are too lazy to add content to the target article, then don't create redirects. A reminder that nobody is obligated to start content over your redirect either. Plenty of editors start articles in draftspace or in their userspace, so if you're creating these redirects to claim some 'territory' in pop music articles on Wikipedia because you think editors will automatically be forced to create content on your redirect, they're not. so stop. Thank you. Ss112 07:06, 27 June 2022 (UTC)

Hi. I apologize for not adding a source to the discography article. I was gonna add it but I was busy. I will remember next time. Thanks. PopLizard (talk) 09:31, 27 June 2022 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for September 11

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Tragedy (Bee Gees song), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Heartbeat. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
