Johnny Winter album track timings edit

Greetings, Poolietrev. I posted here a short time ago, but thinking about this a bit more, I've decided it would be better to talk about it at Talk:Johnny Winter discography#Track timings in album articles instead, where other interested editors might see the discussion. I would encourage you to post a reply there and not here. Thanks. Mudwater (Talk) 12:09, 13 May 2021 (UTC)Reply

Hello. Thanks for participating in that discussion. Feel free to keep an eye on that, as there's likely to be more posts there. Also... It's recommended that when you post a comment on a Talk page, you sign your post with four tildes, as explained at Help:Talk pages#Identifying yourself. (This is for future reference. Your two existing posts have been signed for you.) Mudwater (Talk) 21:10, 13 May 2021 (UTC)Reply

Disambiguation link notification for May 14 edit

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Together: Edgar Winter and Johnny Winter Live, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Sick and Tired and Let the Good Times Roll. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:02, 14 May 2021 (UTC)Reply

Hi Poolietrev. As the "bot" said, your edit of the Together album article, here, resulted in links to disambiguation pages. I fixed that for you, here. Let me know if you have any questions or comments. (If you reply here, I will see what you say.) Mudwater (Talk) 23:23, 14 May 2021 (UTC)Reply

Thanks: new to this and learning but keen to enhance music pages where I can. Some of my favourites are a bit scant on some albums.

BBC Radio 1 Live in Concert (Wishbone Ash album) moved to draftspace edit

An article you recently created, BBC Radio 1 Live in Concert (Wishbone Ash album), is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.   Please do not add or change content, as you did at Day Tripper, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. freshacconci (✉) 14:48, 20 July 2021 (UTC)Reply

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to add unsourced or poorly sourced content, as you did at Day Tripper, you may be blocked from editing. freshacconci (✉) 15:22, 21 July 2021 (UTC)Reply

How about being helpful instead of rude: new to editing and learning. I have not added anything since your first message: I just looked at how to cite reference and when I couldn't I made no changes. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Poolietrev (talkcontribs) 15:37, 21 July 2021 (UTC)Reply

Tough situation edit

Hi Poolietrev, you had been reported at WP:AIV, which is the wrong venue for such a report, as you have edited in good faith and none of your edits have been "vandalism". I'm thus dismissing the report for now.

However, please take the time to respond to those who warned you above. Please respond to their concerns, not the tone of their concerns. A lack of responses will otherwise very likely make them frustrated enough to start a discussion at WP:ANI, which would be the correct venue for reporting users who persistently refuse to provide sources for their disputed contributions.

Thank you very much in advance and best regards,
~ ToBeFree (talk) 18:55, 16 September 2021 (UTC)Reply

Referencing edit

Hi. I think you need to stop everything you're doing and learn how to cite sources, otherwise you're going to end up in more trouble, and possibly blocked. You need to say where your sources of information are from, so that anyone else is capable of fact checking or improving your work 5 - 10 years from now when you've moved on. (And given Wikipedia is over 20 years old, this does happen!) Help:Referencing for beginners is the best place to start, but in a nutshell, just adding <ref>https://web.site.name.com</ref> will be sufficient.
