A note from the editor about Pleurocera and Elimia
editThis page was reverted back to include Elimia' as a valid pleurocerid genus. The so called revisions of Dillon (2011) are not only controversial, but used outdated and inadequate scientific methods to reach his conclusions. See Johnson et al. (2013) Fisheries IN PRESS for more information

- We can't use an "in press" publication as a reference. When the paper comes out, perhaps you can let us know and give us a link to an online abstract of it? Thanks, Invertzoo (talk) 12:21, 18 March 2013 (UTC)
Welcome and an invitation
editSo, welcome to Wikipedia. I did not see your snail-related edits till now. The message you left here (able) with a new heading that I put on it) should have been left on the talk page of the appropriate article, so I will put a copy of it there now. It looks as though you are very knowledgable about freshwater snails, so I am giving you this invitation:
I've noticed your edits on pages relating to Gastropods; perhaps you'd be interested in joining WikiProject Gastropods? If you would like more information, please visit the project page or the project talk page. |
Best wishes to you, Invertzoo (talk) 16:36, 15 March 2013 (UTC)
