Welcome! edit

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions. We appreciate encyclopedic contributions, but some of your recent contributions, such as your edit to the page Jens Hoffmann, have removed content without a good reason to do so. Content on Wikipedia should not be removed just because you disagree with it or because you think it's wrong, unless the claim is not verifiable. Instead, you should consider expanding the article with noteworthy and verifiable information of your own, citing reliable sources when you do so. If you'd like to experiment with the wiki's syntax, please do so in the sandbox rather than in articles. The following links will help you begin editing on Wikipedia:

The Wikipedia tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and discussion pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Again, welcome! Suggestion edit

Pol, I've reverted your edits to the page on the article on Jens Hoffmann, as the amount of properly sourced, valid information requires more than one person's decision to delete. At this point, I'd recommend you go to the Talk Page for the article, and discuss proposed removal of information with the other editors who have contributed to this page. Feel free to give me a shout on my talk page if you have any questions. --Slazenger (Contact Me) 06:12, 16 August 2021 (UTC)Reply

August 2021 edit

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. You appear to be repeatedly reverting or undoing other editors' contributions at Jens Hoffmann. Although this may seem necessary to protect your preferred version of a page, on Wikipedia this is known as "edit warring" and is usually seen as obstructing the normal editing process, as it often creates animosity between editors. Instead of reverting, please discuss the situation with the editor(s) involved and try to reach a consensus on the talk page.

If editors continue to revert to their preferred version they are likely to lose their editing privileges on that page. This isn't done to punish an editor, but to prevent the disruption caused by edit warring. In particular, editors should be aware of the three-revert rule, which says that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Edit warring on Wikipedia is not acceptable in any amount, and violating the three-revert rule is very likely to result in loss of your editing privileges. Thank you. Edits edit

I tried to improve the page with new information about the subject, give the page a better structure, and add several new citations. In the latest edit, I made sure that no information from the previous version was removed, especially no citations. Yet, again the page was reverted to its previous version, which is inferior, due to a lack of information and citations to the one I submitted. I tried to help and be part of a community, yet, at this point, I have to give up since my suggestions and improvements were simply undone and/or ignored. October 2022 edit

Hello, I'm PigeonChickenFish. An edit that you recently made to Luisa Lambri seemed to be a test and has been reverted. If you want to practice editing, please use your sandbox. If you think a mistake was made, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks! PigeonChickenFish (talk) 07:36, 24 October 2022 (UTC)Reply

Thanks. It was actually a correction since the footnote refers to other work by the artist. Thanks! Pol1997 (talk) 21:53, 29 October 2022 (UTC)Reply
