Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Itchyworms has been reverted.
Your edit here to Itchyworms was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline. The external link(s) you added or changed (https://twitter.com/theitchyworms) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. If the external link you inserted or changed was to a blog, forum, free web hosting service, fansite, or similar site (see 'Links to avoid', #11), then please check the information on the external site thoroughly. Note that such sites should probably not be linked to if they contain information that is in violation of the creator's copyright (see Linking to copyrighted works), or they are not written by a recognised, reliable source. Linking to sites that you are involved with is also strongly discouraged (see conflict of interest).
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 00:52, 12 August 2021 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for contributing and being honest about you association with the band. Honesty shines out and you did the right thing to declare your interest. I imagine it will be moved, or at least a redirect created with "The".... then you can go to WP:RM/TR to swap the Wp:Article title. Don't worry abour the red tape, you did the right thing. If you have any references in the music press that are notices or bookings gigs etc that would be great. Don't worry we are all here to make Wikipedia better. Flyers etc thst you may have made are OK Oon Wikimedia Commons and you can link from the article. Don't worry, I'll sub it into WP style: just add the content snd I'll do the WP:wikignomeing while you play up to eleven. 85.67.32.244 (talk) 01:26, 12 August 2021 (UTC) .Reply

  • Comment: Thank you for all the help! Quick question though, I'm still confused on how I can move forward with proving the re-branding of the band. I do have the collaterals, but how do I send them over? Also, is doing the move at WP:RM/TR mandatory despite the move request on the page itself? Would really appreciate all the help. Also I've been updating the page with some info but some of it keeps reverting. Any idea on how I can fix that? thank you! PoisonThyParty (talk) 02:35, 12 August 2021 (UTC)Reply

Yes, I understand. What you need is, In British English we call them "notices", a review that says "lexcplicitly The Who, e.g.. The Shadows are mot shadows

In short, you must show "the" is an essential part of the name. We have {{r frim former nane}} to sort that, no big de. But you need to show they used "the"

Got this! So do I just hyperlink them on a new comment that I shall make on the talk section of The Itchyworms' wiki page? :) Did I get it right? Would that suffice or is still there some stuff I have to do afterwards after giving proof?PoisonThyParty (talk) 03:57, 12 August 2021 (UTC)Reply

::Sorry ak on tiny mobile kryboatdso rcvude typos. Endible but skowrt reply folloed
well that was a pile of old trouserd eh. look, see, you've the hang of it.so if you want to link, say, Thin Lizzy you just put "[["" on the left side and "]]""″ to the right. Read the source. F'rexampld I can link phono plug whicjbid blue" but yours ix WP:REDLINK (tjay's good, means nobody else wrote article there )

Please excuse typox, tiny phone fat fingerd. 85.67.32.244 (talk) 04:45, 12 August 2021 (UTC)Reply

No worries, appreciate all the help. Already has this sent over at The Itchyworms' talk page but just also wanted to share the proof I have. The addition of "The" can be seen in the band's logo that can be found on the official merch site and SNS including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Spotify (most of which are verified). Checking on news, several articles have also properly cited the band according to branding such as the articles from Bandwagon , Rappler , Business Mirror, and NME. Do you think this would suffice? Also moving forward, do I still have to do anything or send more stuff for the move to be approved and manifest? :) PoisonThyParty (talk) 05:35, 12 August 2021 (UTC)Reply
