I've deleted my entire watchlist... edit

...yet again. I do this from time to time, to avoid "owning" articles that I've edited. So if you want me to do, undo, explain or apologise for something that happened before 6th January 2012, please leave a message here, as I won't necessarily see messages on other talk pages. Thanks - Pointillist (talk) 23:23, 6 January 2012 (UTC)Reply

TX Sen edit

By "destructive edits", I'm assuming what you are referring to is updating the candidates based on the filings provided by the TX Democratic Party (which I provided a link to). I'm sorry wikipedia prefers out of date information to my attempts to list the actual candidates or as it was called, "vandalism".— Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.183.21.41 (talkcontribs) 22:51, 16 March 2012‎ (UTC)}Reply

Orphaned non-free image File:Sheffield Hallam University logo.svg edit

Thanks for uploading File:Sheffield Hallam University logo.svg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Stefan2 (talk) 20:46, 5 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

Thanks. The University has now changed its logo, so this file is obsolete and fair use cannot apply. I've requested deletion under {{db-g7}}. - Pointillist (talk) 12:39, 7 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

Disambiguation link notification for June 28 edit

Hi. When you recently edited Equitable remedy, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Henry VII (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Credo Reference Update & Survey (your opinion requested) edit

Credo Reference, who generously donated 400 free Credo 250 research accounts to Wikipedia editors over the past two years, has offered to expand the program to include 100 additional reference resources. Credo wants Wikipedia editors to select which resources they want most. So, we put together a quick survey to do that:

It also asks some basic questions about what you like about the Credo program and what you might want to improve.

At this time only the initial 400 editors have accounts, but even if you do not have an account, you still might want to weigh in on which resources would be most valuable for the community (for example, through WikiProject Resource Exchange).

Also, if you have an account but no longer want to use it, please leave me a note so another editor can take your spot.

If you have any other questions or comments, drop by my talk page or email me at wikiocaasi@yahoo.com. Cheers! Ocaasi t | c 17:28, 11 July 2012 (UTC) Thanks for the message about the Oxford University site. 'Fraid I can't help, though: I just changed the grammar and phrasing; the Telegraph article reference was there before, not from me. SorryOllie Cromwell (talk) 15:43, 13 July 2012 (UTC) - And now it looks as though the necessary editting has been done, too. Ollie Cromwell (talk) 20:50, 19 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

Typo in map edit

Hello, there. I'd like to bring to your attention a typo I have found in your (otherwise commendably clear and helpful) map of the Championship Course: a label reads "Harrods Depositary" instead of "Depository". This is a vector file, so I imagine the error can be fixed without much trouble. (Also, is there a reason "Black buoy" isn't capitalised like the Mile Post and the other labels? It seems inconsistent.) Waltham, The Duke of 20:55, 22 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

I see you've returned...? Waltham, The Duke of 18:22, 8 November 2012 (UTC)Reply
Fair enough, I should have fixed it by now. In this version the labels are rendered as curves rather than text, so it isn't a straightforward task. I had hoped to re-create the entire image using svg tspan entities, but I'm afraid the best has been the enemy of the good so far.... Pointillist (talk) 22:55, 8 November 2012 (UTC)Reply
It didn't occur to me that the text might have been created in this way; I don't know much about vector. Good luck with the improvement. Waltham, The Duke of 18:19, 10 November 2012 (UTC)Reply
