January 2012 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, but when you add or change content, as you did to the article Manasvi Mamgai, please cite a reliable source for your addition. This helps maintain our policy of verifiability. See Wikipedia:Citing sources for how to cite sources, and the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Muhandes (talk) 13:46, 12 January 2012 (UTC)Reply

Please do not add or change content without verifying it by citing reliable sources, as you did to Manasvi Mamgai. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Please stop introducing the childhood section without reliable sources Muhandes (talk) 20:40, 14 January 2012 (UTC)Reply

Hi Muhandes, im a fairy new user and i would like to thank you for taking interest in my page and guiding me. I have cited references to the childhood section. In fact i have added references to the entire page. I wud appreciate if u point out where u feel more references are needed instead of deleting the information. regards Pochaontas (talk) 12:58, 17 January 2012 (UTC)Reply
I apologize, reverted your edit before noticing your comment here. While you added sources, your citation style was somewhat confusing. Citations need to be near the fact they verify, so I could not see what sources verify Mamgai's early life information. I am going to reintroduce the childhood section in a minute. --Muhandes (talk) 13:31, 19 January 2012 (UTC)Reply
I restored most of the early life section. I could not find in the sources you provided any mention of her Kumaoni origin (she says her name is Garhwali so I put that instead), nor could I find a mention of Carmel convent. I have left these facts out, you can add them back with proper sourcing. --Muhandes (talk) 13:57, 19 January 2012 (UTC)Reply
