Welcome edit

Hello, Plantaetitanum and welcome to Wikipedia! It appears you are participating in a class project. If you haven't done so already, we encourage you to go through our training for students.

Go through our online training for students.

If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{Help me}} before the question. Please also read this helpful advice for students.

Before you create an article, make sure you understand what kind of articles are accepted here. Remember: Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, and while many topics are encyclopedic, some things are not.

Your instructor or professor may wish to set up a course page, if your class doesn't already have one. It is highly recommended that you place this text: {{Educational assignment}} on the talk page of any articles you are working on as part of your Wikipedia-related course assignment. This will let other editors know this article is a subject of an educational assignment and aid your communication with them.

We hope you like it here and encourage you to stay even after your assignment is finished! Chris Troutman (talk) 19:04, 25 August 2014 (UTC)Reply

I would like to explore and work on articles related to how plants affect landscapes specifically and how they can be used to manipulate it. I am interested in natural landscaping, xeriscaping, the use of plants in habitat restoration and their effects on runPlantaetitanum (talk) 06:09, 9 September 2014 (UTC)off and maybe even how they can be manipulated to restore or improve the hydrology of degraded areas.Reply

Hi.

Join us on Saturday, October 25 from 9am to 5pm at Doheny Library (map). Please RSVP here if you plan to attend.

I'm providing this message to you since it's on your campus. If you'd like, you can add your user name to our mailing list so you can be notified of other events in the area. Chris Troutman (talk) 23:36, 19 October 2014 (UTC) Reply

November 2014 edit

Hi there! Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

I noticed your recent edit to Xeriscaping does not have an edit summary. Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.

Edit summary content is visible in:

Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. Thanks! Chris Troutman (talk) 22:55, 25 November 2014 (UTC)Reply
