Hello Pjkmorris, I have restored the draft based on your request at Requests for Undeletion. If you have an external connection with the subject, you have a WP:Conflict of interest and will have to disclose the same. See WP:DISCLOSE for details, or you can message me if you require help. Thanks. Jay 💬 05:37, 1 January 2023 (UTC)Reply
I also see a discussion at Talk:Paula Morris which implies another disclosure is due. Jay 💬 05:37, 1 January 2023 (UTC)Reply
Kia ora Jay: I taught Angelique at the University of Auckland (where I am as Associate Professor, running the Masters programme in creative writing); I also selected her work for the 2021 anthology I co-edited with Alison Wong, A Clear Dawn: New Asian Voices from Aotearoa New Zealand. If this precludes me from updating her entry, let me know and I'll find another writer to complete it. It's hard in NZ, where everyone in the literary world seems connected. Pjkmorris (talk) 05:52, 1 January 2023 (UTC)Reply
You may edit the draft, since draftspace is different from article mainspace. The request here is for standard disclosures which will make your contributions transparent. Jay 💬 06:05, 1 January 2023 (UTC)Reply
Let me know if you still need help in making the disclosures. I have added the {{Connected contributor}} talk at Angelique Kasmara's talk page. And I believe the conversion at Talk:Paula Morris is still waiting for your response. Jay 💬 06:47, 3 February 2023 (UTC)Reply
Did you go through my links provided above, and do you have any questions? Jay 💬 07:12, 2 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

This entry has to be seen in the context of NZ literature, not by US standards of what constitutes "success". Also, many of the contemporary NZ writer entries are for poets, for whom publishing is much simpler in NZ and served by numerous small and university presses. All the citations here are from independent sources, including book reviews. I don't understand why this entry for an important Asian NZ voice is not acceptable when these are:
- https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Annaleese_Jochems (another writer who has only published one book)
- https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rose_Lu (again, just one book)
- https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tze_Ming_Mok (no books)
- https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rebecca_K_Reilly (one book)
- https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grace_Taylor_(poet) (one book) Pjkmorris (talk) 23:37, 1 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
