Issues with your recent article List of accounts affected by Twitter fake followers purge

edit

Hello! Regarding the article List of accounts affected by Twitter fake followers purge which you have just created, there are a number of issues you should be aware of:

  1. Please do not copy & paste content from elsewhere (even if your own creation), as articles must follow WP's own formatting and layout guidelines. As the article creator, the primary onus is on you to ensure compliance.
  2. The article has no internal wikilinks, and no inline citations to external sources, both of which are important requirements.
  3. You appear to have a connection with the article subject, esp. a business mentioned in s.3. At the very least you should declare your interest, and preferably not make edits which could be seen as advertising, self-promotional or otherwise contradicting WP policies.
  4. Finally, the article has been marked with a number of 'tags', and I noticed that you already removed one of these (which I subsequently reverted). Please do not remove tags without addressing the issues they highlight.

Please familiarise yourself with the relevant policies and guidelines, and feel free to continue editing your article in line with them. Regards, DoubleGrazing (talk) 11:20, 5 March 2020 (UTC)Reply

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions, but for legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted.

You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text—which means allowing other people to modify it—then you must include on the external site the statement: "I, (name), am the author of this article, (article name), and I release its content under the terms of the GNU Free Documentation License, Version 1.2 and later, and under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribute Share-Alike".

You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question at the Help Desk. You can also leave a message on my talk page. -- Yamla (talk) 09:58, 30 March 2023 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm Yamla. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, OnePlus Nord, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. -- Yamla (talk) 09:58, 30 March 2023 (UTC)Reply

Please refrain from making test edits in Wikipedia pages, such as those you made to WhatsApp, even if you intend to fix them later. Your edits have been reverted. If you would like to experiment again, please use your sandbox. Thank you. --Yamla (talk) 11:55, 31 March 2023 (UTC)Reply

Naming children and siblings

edit

Note per WP:NONAME we should avoid naming non-notable children and siblings in biographical articles. This is for privacy reasons, and also WP:INDISCRIMINATE applies. Thanks. --ZimZalaBim talk 12:30, 23 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

Ditto to that in the Gal Gadot article. Thanks, Esowteric + Talk + Breadcrumbs 16:13, 18 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
To repeat, we generally don't include names of non-notable children. This has been pointed out before, yet you seem to continue to add this content (which I'm removing). Please stop. --ZimZalaBim talk 22:21, 18 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
Yet again, please do NOT name non-notable children, as you did at Gal Gadot. See WP:BLPNAME. Also, when adding material, you need to cite your sources. Esowteric + Talk + Breadcrumbs 12:32, 19 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
@PiyushKhatri:, you should really check your talk page messages. Esowteric + Talk + Breadcrumbs 13:08, 20 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
You have been notified and warned numerous times about this, PiyushKhatri. --ZimZalaBim talk 15:48, 20 June 2024 (UTC)Reply

"In use" template

edit

Please don't add the {{In use}} template to articles indicating that "this article is actively undergoing a major edit for a short while" when you only intend to carry out one small edit. Thanks, Esowteric + Talk + Breadcrumbs 16:13, 18 June 2024 (UTC)Reply

Please see WP:BLPNAME, especially Names of family members who are not also notable public figures must be removed from an article if they are not properly sourced. So please do not add the names of children, and please do read referencing for beginners. Esowteric + Talk + Breadcrumbs 15:55, 20 June 2024 (UTC)Reply

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you.

@PiyushKhatri: As repeatedly advised, please see WP:BLPNAME, especially Names of family members who are not also notable public figures must be removed from an article if they are not properly sourced. So please do not add the names of children, and please do read referencing for beginners. And please read these talk page messages. Esowteric + Talk + Breadcrumbs 08:20, 21 June 2024 (UTC)Reply

You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you vandalize Wikipedia. You've been warned enough. Final time. ZimZalaBim talk 13:32, 21 June 2024 (UTC)Reply

It looks like the edits have abruptly ceased today, but I have an AN/I report ready to file if this continues, especially if PiyushKhatri remains uncommunicative. I'm not even sure if they know about user talk page messages and reversion notifications. They do speak English. Esowteric + Talk + Breadcrumbs 13:38, 21 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
