What is this tea place? Pixomite (talk) 01:22, 18 June 2021 (UTC)Reply

Hi Pixomite. The Teahouse is one of Wikipedia's "virtual rooms" where veteran Wikipedia editors hang out and help newer editors by answering their questions. --Rosiestep (talk) 13:30, 18 June 2021 (UTC)Reply

  Please do not add or change content, as you did at World Cube Association, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Felida97 (talk) 18:51, 18 June 2021 (UTC)Reply

Felida97 is right, you know. All three of us know that there are significantly more than 144k competitors, but we NEED TO PROVE IT! Me and Felida97 have now decided to link the database as the source for a more exact number. Judith Sunrise (talk) 19:17, 21 June 2021 (UTC)Reply

Do you have a source for "over 7000 competitions"? Without a source, we will need to remove that information. Judith Sunrise (talk) 15:38, 4 July 2021 (UTC)Reply

Nevermind, you're wrong. There have only been 6704 competitions. Judith Sunrise (talk) 15:42, 4 July 2021 (UTC)Reply
Please stop using backup devices to do your edits. This practice is called "sock-puppeting" and it's not allowed. You are the one starting the edit war.
You're right that the WCA-website is showing 7050+ competitions. The database export only shows 6704 (non-cancelled) competitions. I'm trying to find out where the difference comes from. I have not had any luck with that yet.
@Felida97:, @Serols: - I don't know what to do anymore. Judith Sunrise (talk) 16:04, 6 July 2021 (UTC)Reply
