Speedy deletion nomination of User:Dinnerthendessert/sandbox

Sorry I couldn't figure out how to get to this page before and submit it here. So basically what happened was a friend of mine with a large food website has a wikipedia page. She submitted a quote for me to my publisher for an upcoming cookbook I am writing. In talking to her she said I should have a wikipedia page because the book can be added to the page as a resource and on the side of a google result for informational reasons. So, I made an account with my business name and business email (I really wasn't trying to hide anything here, honestly), and I used my friends accepted page as my gods honest truth template to just keep it short and simple. I didn't want to elaborate but just keep it clean and short so it could naturally sort of evolve over time? The other page I used was another large food website to reference for acceptable language. Please know I didn't set out to be spammy, it literally goes against who I am as a person. I am not looking to be unblocked because I have a pressing desire to edit articles. I really don't think that is a passion of mine for the future. I just love wikipedia and use it with almost every informational query I have on the internet and the idea that I violated the spirit of Wikipedia is just weighing heavy on me now. I just want to sort of wipe the slate clean here, maybe just delete this whole thing and just say hey, I promise this wasn't me trying to be a jerk, I was simply thinking this was acceptable for a large website to make a page about it as my site receives millions of views a month. Please accept my apologies.

As you state you do not wish to edit, there is no need to unblock you, as being blocked does not prevent you from reading Wikipedia. If you later decide you want to edit something, you may request unblock at that time. I would further add that your friend seems to seriously misunderstand the purpose of Wikipedia; Wikipedia has no interest in search results, merely providing information, or hosting "resources". This is an encyclopedia, which has article subjects shown with independent reliable sources with in depth coverage to meet Wikipedia's special definition of notability.
