Henryk Floyar-Rajchman edit

Thanks for creating this article. Here are my suggestions for the future articles you create:

If you do add those elements, the article will be eligible for Wikipedia:Did You Know ~6h display on the main page, with an average readership of 10,000+. Please let me know if you have any questions, --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 07:47, 26 February 2014 (UTC)Reply

Polish Veterans of World War II (United States) edit

Interesting article. Can you provide some reliable sources so we could remove the notability warning tag? --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 06:44, 21 March 2014 (UTC)Reply

A request edit

As I am reviewing and copyediting your articles, please check my edits and try to incorporate them into your future entries. In particular, you seem to habitually forget about categorizing your articles. This is quite simple, particularly when using the Wikipedia:HotCat gadget. See the Wikipedia:Categories for more information. Similarly, please add WikiProject Assessment pages to the talk. You can simply copy the ones I used at Talk:Andrzej Beck and use them for most of your new articles, and it seems that you could just copy most of the categories too. Thanks! --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 09:31, 28 April 2014 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for looking into the issues I raised. I very much appreciate the excellent work you are doing, so please don't hesitate to ask me or other members of WT:POLAND for help. --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 05:29, 1 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

Photos of history of Polonia in the US edit

I've recently created The Polish Peasant in Europe and America, and I wanted to illustrate this. Unfortunately, in commons:Category:Polonia in the United States it doesn't appear we have any pictures of Znaniecki, the book, or even Polish immigrants from the turn of the century! Perhaps I was looking in the wrong place, but if not, perhaps you can find some useful images to upload to Commons and add to the article I created (which will be featured on the front page in a few days as a WP:DYK)? PS. I am expanding article on Florian Znaniecki to a GA, and any help with this would be appreciated. In particular, if you could obtain any media we could add to it, it would be great. We don't even have a photo of him... --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 05:44, 11 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

Would you happen to have access to the original 1918-1920 edition? Since it's pre-1923, we could take scan/photos of the covers and upload them to Wikipedia as free images. Also, if there are any images inside, we can take pictures of them as well. Since I am in Korea, NYC is a bit far for me, usually :> --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 02:57, 16 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

Wikilinking edit

Hi, and thanks for your work on the English Wikipedia.

I noticed an article you worked on. Just a short note to point out that we don’t normally link:

  • dates
  • years
  • commonly known geographical terms (including well-known country-names), and
  • common terms you’d look up in a dictionary (unless significantly technical).

This applies to infoboxes, too.

Please also watch the Caps. We tend to capitalise only when necessary in English.

Thanks, and my best wishes.

Featuring your work on Wikipedia's front page: DYKs edit

Thank you for your recent articles, including Marian Chodacki, which I read with interest. When you create an extensive and well referenced article, you may want to have it featured on Wikipedia's main page in the Did You Know section. Articles included there will be read by thousands of our viewers. To do so, add your article to the list at T:TDYK. Let me know if you need help, Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 20:57, 26 June 2014 (UTC)Reply

The Polish Empire: Geopolitical Concerns and Colonial Discourse, 1930-39 edit

Dear Mr. Puchalski,

recently I have read of your study "The Polish Empire: Geopolitical Concerns and Colonial Discourse, 1930-39." in the Wikipedia article concerning the Maritime and Colonial League, which certainly contributes to the examination of an often unregarded episode of Polish history. Since I'm planning to write my B.A. thesis on the LMiK as an instrument of Sanacja authorities to promote societal corporatism in the 1930s and the transformation of the Maritime Policy between 1926 and 1930, I would like to observe all available studies on the topic. Hence, I would like to ask you whether your study is going to be published or if there might be any other way to obtain it, since I could not find any information about it on the internet besides a brief abstract in this journal: http://cas.nyu.edu/docs/CP/816/InquiryXVIII.pdf Of course, I would assure you of the proper use of your work in my thesis in line with academic convention, such as accurate citation etc. For further communication, I consign my email: d.s.lotz@gmx.de I'm looking forward to your answer.

Yours sincerely, Sebastian Lotz
