Response to your question

edit

I moved your question from my editor review to my talk page, as I believe that's where you intended to post it. If you do want the comment to remain in my editor review, please let me know and I'll reverse that immediately.

If you believe that an article doesn't conform to the neutral point of view policy, you should put your concerns on the talk page (the blue "discussion" tab that appears next to the "article" tab at the top of the page). If you think the problems are serious or that the dispute will go on for some time, you may also place the {{npov}} tag at the top of the article. This will let article readers know that the article is of questionable neutrality. However, you must explain your reasons for thinking the article is not neutral on the talk page, not just place the tag.

I've been around here a bit and am a member of the Association of Member's Advocates. If you would like, I'd be happy to help you in bringing up your issues with these articles. I'll also remove the warning, as it appears that you were acting in good faith-however, please don't just blank a page. If you feel a page needs to be totally deleted, there are ways for nominating it for that, if you think it just needs to be rewritten from scratch, that can be suggested too! (If you want to contact me in the future, you can use the "Talk to me" link in my signature-the "review me" link is the one to my editor review.) I had a look over Sir Edmund Hillary-I do tend to agree there, the whole thing is about one controversy, not the article's subject. I'll put in some general information about the school, the controversy information seems to belong more on the page about Every Nation itself. It looks like the issue's mostly fixed now, and the editor who was previously trying to insert the material has stopped. Still, thanks for catching it, that definitely did need to be fixed! (Sorry about the revert/warning on you by the way, we get a lot of blanking vandalism, and occasionally I make a mistake on recent-change patrol.) Also, I'll leave a welcome header below, it has a lot of links to pages you may find very helpful in editing. Seraphimblade Talk to me Please review me! 11:14, 19 February 2007 (UTC)Reply
Most of our regular contributors are, but we do get some people that edit on articles for which they have a conflict of interest. That's alright to a degree (no one in the world is totally unbiased), but when editing on a subject one has strong feelings on, it's certainly necessary to be very careful of one's own biases. In terms of the Marantha churches, I've seen bias on both sides (those attempting to whitewash perfectly well-sourced negative information, and those attempting to give undue weight to the negative and put in poorly-sourced attacks). The neutral viewpoint is one of our core policies, and it is critically important. As you go, though, you'll find most people around here are pretty reasonable.
