The confluence of any river system is called myitson, and that's also the Burmese name for the confluence of N'mai Hka and Mali Hka.

The western mountains are called Rakhine Yoma, and the central range of mountains Bago Yoma.

Irrawaddy Delta is a separate article, so I think you should mention it only briefly. Just the bare minimum of its geography. You've duplicated the delta extending into the sea each year at a certain rate too. Cyclone Nargis, likewise, a brief mention only. It's not a real tsunami either, just massive tidal waves from the storm, not the result of a quake which a tsunami is.

Yandoon is actually Nyaungdon. Lose the ~ in a for Myitkyina.

I would lose the Chindwin transport details too. It's about the Irrawaddy, not about the Chindwin.

Mentions in Modern Culture, again, I'm sorry, is largely irrelevant. The Road to Mandaly song and film titles and content do not mention the river; it's only a tenuous link, although it's perhaps worth including Kipling's idea of the Road being the River. The Irrawaddy publications is listed in the disambiguation page. Unlike the Irrawaddy dolphin, it's not of direct relevance.
