Speedy deletion of Evos Solutions

edit

A tag has been placed on Evos Solutions requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a company or corporation, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for companies and corporations.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. – Skyezxmessage 08:59, 27 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Sarbeswar Mohanty (civil servant) moved to draftspace

edit

An article you recently created, Sarbeswar Mohanty (civil servant), is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) In addition, you appear to have a WP:UPE or WP:COI conflict. Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, and have addressed the UPE/COI issue, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Do not move the article into mainspace yourself.Onel5969 TT me 17:45, 16 December 2021 (UTC)Reply

Thanks @Onel5969 for providing valuable suggestions for improving the article Sarbeswar Mohanty (civil servant). As suggested, necessary modifications have been made to the same along with adding more factual information and citations. Sarbeswar Mohanty is a very important personality. Apart from an IAS officer, he has many great contributions to the society. He had not only played a key role in reviving Nabarabi, a renowned Odia magazine, but was also the managing editor of the same till 2021. He was also the President of the governing bodies of Loknath Mohavidyala and Alaka Mahavidyalaya. He had many great achievements as well. He was awarded by Government of Maharashtra and had received certificates of appreciation from Government of India and Government of Odisha for his outstanding contribution to the rehabilitation program of super cyclone that struck Odisha in 1999. Thanks for all your support. --Pikunimohanty (talk) 04:15, 15 February 2022 (UTC)Reply

Managing a conflict of interest

edit

Hello, Pikunimohanty. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. I noticed that you have created articles on people with a similar name to your username here on Wikipedia. Might there be a connection? Furthermore, in Draft:Sarbeswar Mohanty (civil servant) you have used a picture which you've uploaded as your 'own work', again suggesting you may have some sort of relationship with the subject. This message provides information and advice for how to deal with any conflict of interest you may have. -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 10:24, 13 March 2022 (UTC)Reply
