Talk to me, Andy Mabbett

  • If you post a message on this page, I'll reply on this page to avoid fragmenting the discussion.
  • If I've left you a message on your talk page, I will be watching it, so please reply there rather than here (but do feel free to drop a copy of {{Talkback}} here).
  • If appropriate, I will move discussion from here to the relevant article's talk page, so that anyone interested can join in.
  • If you want to start a new discussion thread, please start it at the bottom of the page. Better still, use the "new section" tab next to the "edit this page" tab, or the link at the foot of this section, either of which will do that automatically.
  • Please do not make links from within section headings.
  • Inaccessible HTML (coloured text, "small" tags, etc.) will be removed from this page on sight. Broken heading or list structures will be fixed.
  • Please sign and date your entries by inserting four tildes (~~~~) at the end.

On a friend's birthday - she is pictured on my talk - I have RD death article that needs reviewing, Martti Wallén. - Different topic that came up in a conversation with Victoria: the prominent colours in some infoboxes - take saints - are a problem for people with headaches. I imagine that they could also be an accessibility problem. Help? --Gerda Arendt (talk) 13:11, 6 July 2024 (UTC)Reply

Pictured on the Main page: Brian's Mozart family grand tour, my story today, and Mozart related to all three items of music on my talk: our 2023 concert, an opera in a theatre where a Mozart premiere took place, and those remembered, the bass and Liana Isakadze, a violinist from Georgia (whose article would be better with more details about her music-making). - Enjoy your time off. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 10:35, 9 July 2024 (UTC)Reply

My story today is - because of the anniversary of the premiere OTD in 1782 - about Die Entführung aus dem Serail, opera by Mozart, while yesterday's was - because of the TFA - about Les contes d'Hoffmann, opera by Offenbach, - so 3 times Mozart again if you click on "music" ;) --Gerda Arendt (talk) 12:12, 16 July 2024 (UTC)Reply

Today's story is about a photographer who took iconic pictures, especially View from Williamsburg, Brooklyn, on Manhattan, 9/11, yesterday's was a great mezzo, and on Thursday we watched a sublime ballerina. If that's not enough my talk offers chamber music from two amazing concerts. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 11:52, 20 July 2024 (UTC)Reply

Danny Cohen (television executive)

edit

Hi Andy. I hope you are well. I noticed that you are listed at Wikipedia:WikiProject BBC/Members and thought that perhaps you would not mind taking a look at an edit request I posted for Danny Cohen, who previously was the Director of BBC Television, and is now the President of Access Entertainment. The request can be found at Talk:Danny Cohen (television executive)#Infobox, BBC Three, and Personal life. Thank you for your consideration. C at Access (talk) 15:10, 26 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
