Deletion
editHi, thanks for email. I think perhaps you misunderstand the purpose of Wikipedia. It is an encyclopaedia, not a personal Facebook or similar page. Your article was written in the style of a personal reflection, not an encyclopaedia article.
- I deleted your recent article because it did not provide independent verifiable sources to enable us to verify the facts or show that it meets the notability guidelines. Note that Youtube, Facebook and other self-created pages are not acceptable sources.
- It was written in a non-neutral tone. Articles must be neutral and encyclopaedic
- You have an obvious conflict of interest when it comes to editing articles about your father, and posting a request at Wikipedia:Requested articles for the article to be created was a good idea, although you may not get a speedy result.
If, after reading the information about notability linked above, you still believe that your father is notable enough for a Wikipedia article (and that there is significant coverage of the centre in reliable, independent secondary sources), you could create a draft here, and let me know if you want me to take a look. I've recently done a very short bio of Jane Gray, which might help you with tone and layout. You don't need to bother with the fancy Cite template, just put your sources between the <ref> </ref> tags Jimfbleak - talk to me? 05:55, 18 October 2011 (UTC)
