A tag has been placed on Draft:Ana Brister, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to have no meaningful content or history, and the text is unsalvageably incoherent. If the page you created was a test, please use the sandbox for any other experiments you would like to do.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. - FlightTime (open channel) 03:26, 19 November 2019 (UTC)

Welcome to Wikipedia
editHi. I'm sure you are finding some of the notices on this page to be confusing. Since you are new to Wikipedia, I thought someone should explain to you a little more clearly what is going on.
The page you created about your mother was very thoughtful and kind for you to write. However, Wikipedia is not the right place to write these sorts of things. Wikipedia is a project to share information with other people—the sort of information that might be found in an encyclopedia. A kind note from a person to his mother is a very wonderful thing, but it would not be part of an encyclopedia. Also, there is no guarantee your mother will ever see that page, while all kinds of other people around the world, who don't know anything about you or your family, are likely to see it.
The discussions mentioned above are part of a process to decide whether new pages should be kept on Wikipedia or not. Unfortunately, the outcome will probably be that the page cannot remain online permanently. Please don't take this as any sort of bad thought about either your mother or yourself.
If you think you are ready to contribute to Wikipedia's mission of sharing knowledge, then you are welcome to try—but please carefully read Wikipedia:Guidance for younger editors before you do anything else. Newyorkbrad (talk) 20:53, 19 November 2019 (UTC)
