Resolving accidential vandalism (plate armor page)

Hello there, I just got notified that I had made non-constructive edits to the plate armor page. I think either 1. I edited the page by mistake, when I was fumbling around trying to navigate the phone app(I got frostbite recently, and finger dexterity suffered as a result) or 2. someone at my school vandalized the page, and somehow I got this response message. In either case, I didn't intend to make any changes, of any kind. Please let me know how to revert these changes, and if they continue, feel free to ip-ban me from editing- I only want to READ Wikipedia, and I'm not sure how these bad edits are happening. To answer your question, there are a number of reasons why I reverted. Wikipedia isn't really supposed to be a repository of links, and if one language variant of Wordle is added, why is this version linked and not others? Also, acceptable linking in article is usually supposed to link to the direct subject of the article. Finally, non-English websites are really not supposed to be linked to except in a very specific situation. Hope that helps provide some insight. Happy editing! Indeed, if you leave it as it was, you are promoting a defective product and Wikipedia is not about promoting products but about giving pertinent information. If you read the whole page, you would know that passenger/crew numbers are always written out. Some of the same numbers are even written out in different entries (see third January, inflatable boat). If you wanna play this dumb game of lying to me and pretending not to read the edit history notes, you do you. Hi Philipnelson! This is deepakicv. I am new to this editing business on wikipedia. I learnt about global bihari while searching about Bihar and also got interested in Bihari media where I learnt about Global Bihari, and thought readers would get benefitted as I found the site quite useful. I found the Bihari cuisine section there as well as Bihari literature and there are many more in the portal. perhaps being new, I don't know how to make that information useful for readers of Wikipedia so I put proper link there as I found there are many links already there. You removed an external link because you stated it was promotional and inappropriate for an encyclopedia. The website is literally designed to provide local commentary, local events, local information to both residents and visitors of the Monadnock Region of New Hampshire. How does that fail to align with what's being provided on the Wikipedia page?

These are the remaining external links. The first link is dead. Oops. The next three links are rather similar to the link that I included and you deleted. What are the major distinctions that you based your judgement on? How do those distinctions relate to the other links already approved on the page (except for the first link, being dead, and the last, being a map)?

I believe GoMonadnock.com is rather an apt addition to the Wikipedia page and would provide deeper value and context for visitors of the Wikipedia page. Our profit gain here is so utterly trivial that you can count on the promotional impact being nil and I therefore wouldn't take the time to insert the link in the first place (not to mention write this to you now) if I thought it wasn't an important addition for the sake of Wikipedia's readers who visit that page.

Please, help me to understand your position in light of what I've shared here.
