Hi Philipmerrill, the Chinese poetry parts of Wikipedia certainly offer a fairly wide-opened field for someone interested in this area; certainly, it's a bit of an encyclopedic backwater. I've been working on it, mostly in the form of developing some basic organization. Your contributions can be very valuable in terms of Chinese poetry articles on Wikipedia. I would encourage you to feel free to be creative, and not to expect either much in the way of either applause or condemnation. The following links may be helpful to you:

Hi again Philipmerrill, I just want to express my appreciation for your work and to acknowledge the degree to which I have relied on it. In order to help round out the series of articles on Chinese poetry I recently began new articles on Ming poetry and Qing poetry. I hope that you are not offended that, especially in the Qing poetry article, I mostly followed/copied your contributions in regards to the poetry and poets of those epochs. Although there may not be much new encyclopedic content in these articles, I thought it would be worthwhile to make a beginning with those articles in order to make it easier for Wikipedia editors who know more about this area or have better reference sources than I do to build upon now or in the future.
