Image copyright problem with Image:MC-Erwin.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:MC-Erwin.jpg. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).

The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}.

This image says we have permission to use it on Wikipedia, but it's tagged as "no rights reserved" with means that anyone can do anyting with it. Could you please clearify what this permission is. Did they say "you can use the image on Wikipedia", wich case the correct that would be {{permission}} and the image must be deleted, or did they explicitly say (something to the effect of) "anyone can do whatever they want with the image, including modifying and selling it without asking for permission", in wich case the "no rights" tag is ok, but we need more info on the page explaining that this is what they actualy agreed to. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Marietta College

I'd prefer to not have to continually undo the changes, but my goal is to keep the information accurate. Marietta College was founded as a liberal arts college and the institution continues to teach liberal arts. Yes, there are students who major in programs outside of liberal arts, but their education is grounded in these teachings. Didn't realize this was going to become such a touchy subject with an individual. Perryt
