Alma Ruiz edit

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Alma Ruiz, and it appears to include material copied directly from http://www.newamericanpaintings.com/jurors/alma-ruiz.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material. You may use such publications as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details. (If you own the copyright to the previously published content and wish to donate it, see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for the procedure.) Ways to improve Alma Ruiz edit

Hi, I'm Fisheriesmgmt. PenWoo, thanks for creating Alma Ruiz!

I've just tagged the page, using our page curation tools, as having some issues to fix. Thanks so much for creating this article for Art + Feminism! Great start! I'd recommend a little copy-editing. Let me know if I can help!

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, you can leave a comment on my talk page. Or, for more editing help, talk to the volunteers at the Teahouse. Fisheriesmgmt (talk) 16:25, 9 March 2015 (UTC)Reply

Alma Ruiz edit

Hi! I'm afraid there's a problem at Alma Ruiz. You initially copied a lot of stuff from the sources as quotations, correctly shown as such and properly cited as far as I can see. That's not what we do here (there's guidance at Wikipedia:Quotations), but it was not a serious problem. Unfortunately another editor removed the quotes, which turned much of the article into a copyright violation. I could have restored the quote marks, but what the article really needs is to be rewritten in the sort of language we use in Wikipedia. So after consideration I have listed it at WP:copyright problems for processing. If you would like to work on a rewrite, please do. Please click the third "show" link at centre right on the template to be taken to a new page to start this; please don't copy over any copyright content from the previous version to the rewrite (as that defeats the object!). In case you don't know: you can still see previous versions of the article by going to the page history. If you decide not to work on it someone else will, though that may take a week or two. This clumsy hand-written note is instead of the customary large and invasive template. I do realise that this is not your fault, and that you are a relatively new editor. Please don't be discouraged from editing. Justlettersandnumbers (talk) 17:35, 3 April 2015 (UTC)Reply
