This wouldn’t normally appear in a finished article. The aim here is to organise and classify the sources on-page during the construction phase.

It could also be done in a section of the talk page (one advantage of free-form talk pages). But then the history of the substance becomes mixed in with the history of the collaboration. And our talk pages are not truly free-form: they are constrained by convention if not by technology. Doesn’t matter whilst I’m the only one working on the article, but for the future I think it’s best to maintain the history and diffs. Pelagic (talk) 00:34, 6 October 2019 (UTC)
