About the editing dispute between you and me in the Thailand national football team article edit

Hello and greetings.

So it seems you are still not on par with me and reverted my recent edits on the Thailand national soccer team’s article. But, you just make dubious explanation for your revert. I don’t know how good your English is ? And you said you born in Thailand. That speaks for some biasity within you. Well, ok, I’m not from Thailand but i’m pretty sure i have better experiences on how to write a good wikipedia article about a football team much more than you.

You said that many don’t like my edits. Actually it’s just you up to now. The others were perplexed at first but they did not reject my edits later on after i had given thorough explanation.
About “the decaying crown” stuff. As you said, we shouldn’t focus the topic on regional competitions but Southeast asia level is what mainly characterizing the Thailand senior national team until now while Asia competitions? Not so much. And world level? None. So yeah, this title in my opinion suits best. I mean, “the decaying crown” title suits that section because from 2017 onward till now, Thailand hasn’t s shown much change in Asia level while they at the same time lost their regional domination (the AFF 2018 failure). So for now, that title should remain.
By the way, you cannot undone all my other edits on the page by a single click like that without any better reasons. I have done a lot of work, professionally based on my experiences, and all for the good. And i don’t want hours of my work gone by a single click done by you. That is not cool or nice.
For now, I will revert your revert and back to my version of the article. If you don’t like it, please don’t revert again straight away. You are not the boss of Wikipedia, OK? Feel free to reply and discuss here first so we can agree on the matter.Trung tá Moore (talk) 17:53, 10 February 2020 (UTC)Reply

You said "Southeast asia level is what mainly characterizing the Thailand senior national team", No, you have got it wrong.

since 2016 after new FA Thailand under pol gen. Somyot Poompanmoung, Southeast asia level not mainly characterizing the Thailand senior national team under new 20 year plan (2016-2036) , mainly are Asia tournament Asian Cup or Fifa world cup Q.

From FA Thailand :

"เป็นสมาคมกีฬาฟุตบอลชั้นนำในทวีปเอเชีย เพิ่อก้าวสู่มาตรฐานโลก" "To achieve in Asia's level and step foward to be on the world stage"

in 2016 after thailand national team Q to 2018 FIFA world cup last 12 team of Asian zone it first time of our national team, that FA Thailand under Somyot have buit a new master plan to improve Thailand national team

in 2019 Thailand enough to move on to the knockout stage of the AFC Asian Cup for the first time in 47 years

that cause title of content = Rebuit ,this title in my opinion suits best. . I mean, “2017–present: Rebuilding” title suits that section because from 2017 onward till now, Thailand has shown much change in Asia level

and you said "while they at the same time lost their regional domination (the AFF 2018 failure)." your opinion are wrong. AFF 2018 tournament Thailand not use main player squad, 5 main players from Japan league and Europe leage, Fa Thailand not sent 5 main players to Asean tournament because Fa Thailand focus on AFC Asian cup 2019 that was began on January 2019, that make Thailand national team to move on to the knockout stage of the AFC Asian Cup for the first time in 47 years

look as Japan and South Korea national football team, them FA not sent main player squad to play in their regional minor tournament EAFF E-1 Football Championship too. but they focus on Major match AFC Asian Cup or Fifa world cup Q.

(Fifa world ranking of Thailand national football team : 2020=113 2019=115 2018=118 and 2017=130 2015=133 2014=142 2013=146)

2018-present ranking and Thai national team improve. you shall focus on FIFA world Ranking and major tournament of Asia like AFC Asian Cup or World cup qualification, don t focus on minor tournament in Asean or AFF Championship, and please read carefully "Sirisak guided Thailand to a win over Bahrain and a draw with the host UAE, enough to move on to the knockout stage of the AFC Asian Cup for the first time in 47 years." first time in 47 years. Decaying crown ?

For now, If you don’t like it, please don’t revert again straight away.Peerapong097 (talk) 09:33, 11 February 2020 (UTC)Reply

First of all, we can't talk about vague team plans beneath the history section, we should talk about the team's factual performance. Because performance matters and prove it. The fact is that Thailand failed and lost their regional ASEAN championship, that is the major picture and must be picked up as the main content. I don't care if they use B squads or focusing on whatever, they failed, it's a fact. "Rebuilding" are just up to now plans and not very convincing. Asian Cup 2019 big move?? Really? It's not that much of a big move, they met rather easier opponents than previous tournaments, but still struggle to make it through and lost to not so powerful China in round of 16. And the 2022 World Cup qualification: they could not beat Vietnam, and even lost to Malaysia, this is much worse than the 2018 WC qualification in 2015, when they beat Vietnam twice. How is that an "improve" or "rebuild"?? Well yes, there is the rebuild. However, we don't talk about plans or side activities, we talk about the main performance/the results.
To sum it up, they definitely have lost the past domination over the neighbors like Vietnam, Malaysia...that should be the main thing to speak about (until now) because the "the rebuilding to achieve in Asia" hasn't shown much results and not very convincing.
I will revert your edit. If you don't agree, just edit the history section "the decaying crown" because that part seems to be the only thing you disagree. The other parts I made edits are OK, aren't they? Don't revert them without discuss.Trung tá Moore (talk) 03:44, 11 February 2020 (UTC)Reply

i see, i talk about the team's factual performance. The fact is that Thailand enough to move on to the knockout stage of the AFC Asian Cup for the first time in 47 years, AFF Championship not major picture or major tournament but it minor region tournament same as aEAFF E-1 Football Championship of East Asia or Gulf Cup of West Asia and must not be picked up as the main content ! i know you don't care if they use B squads but FA Thailand care about that, and who are you ? FA Thailand mean Football Association of Thailand

"Rebuilding" are use in many wikipedia football team page and very convincing if have good reference.

You said "Asian Cup 2019 It's not that much of a big move" Asian cup is a biggest major tournament of Asia affter FIFA world cup Q and FIFA.com, AFC.com website report after match, statistics every match, it's most important for every National team of Asia, Team like Japan S.Korea call up the best player from Europe

You said "they met rather easier opponents than previous tournaments, but still struggle to make it through" No, you have got it wrong. In Asian cup 2019 Thailand national football team is in Group A , From FIFA ranking before January 2019 every team in Group A are stronger than our team Thailand

You said "and lost to not so powerful China in round of 16" No, you have got it wrong. China national football team stronger than Thailand since 2001(20 years) from FIFA world ranking before January 2019 Fifa ranking of China PR is 76 but Thailand 118 and the fact is China, they played in World Cup 2002 and Chinese league very stronger than Thai league they have highest current AFC Club Competitions Ranking too.

You said "And the 2022 World Cup qualification: they could not beat Vietnam, and even lost to Malaysia, this is much worse than the 2018 WC qualification in 2015, when they beat Vietnam twice. How is that an "improve" or "rebuild"??" 2022 World Cup qualification don't have title content in this wikipedia page because it still have 3 match to play in future and in 2022 World Cup qualification Thailand national team won United Arab Emirate too, Our team still have chance to go next round with 2 match in Home and 1 Away match.

You said "we don't talk about plans or side activities, we talk about the main performance/the results." Main performance/the results of (2018 FIFA World Cup Q,2019 AFC Asian Cup, 2022 FIFA World Cup Q) all result from 2017-present Thailand national team was improve, you can watch on Fifa world ranking , That cause you can not use "2017–present: the decaying crown" for the title of content

(Fifa world ranking of Thailand national football team : 2020=113 2019=115 2018=118 and 2017=130 2015=133 2014=142 2013=146)

You said "If you don't agree, just edit the history section "the decaying crown" because that part seems to be the only thing you disagree. The other parts I made edits are OK, aren't they? Don't revert them without discuss." I don't agree with 2 History content of you "2008–2016: subverted and recrowned" and "2017–present: the decaying crown" Peerapong097 (talk) 12:02, 11 February 2020 (UTC)Reply

Ok, @Peerapong, let me just list the issues you gave:
1. “Asean competitions are minor and should not be the main topic”. Let me explain. Well, they are minor, yes, but to the world,NOT to Thailand. Up until, say 2017, southeast Asia level is what Thailand focused on and exceled at. Asia level? There is nothing special to talk about Thailand in the Asia level. A team never passed the group stage and when they did, only stopped at round of 16. In 2019 Asian Cup, Thailand move on but with only 4 points = the same with 2007 Asian Cup, but this time a little bit luckier. This means that Thailand hasn’t improve much, the results are same, just luckier to get to knockout round in 2019. So the topic title should be about Southeast asia because in Asia or World level, Thailand has shown pretty much nothing.
2. ”Asian cup is not that much of a big move”. In this sentence, I means Thailand’s progress in the Asian Cup isn’t big, not that Asian Cup is not a big tournament.
3. About “Thailand meet easier opponents”. I means Thailand meat easier opponents than the opponents they faced in the past, which are: Australia, Iraq and Oman in 2007. I DID NOT means Thailand met weaker teams than themselves. You think that Australia, Iraq, Oman are not stronger than Bahrain, India, UAE?? I don’t think so. And they get 4 points in both 2007 and 2019= Thailand hasn’t shown much improve in Asia’s level.
4. About 2022 WC qualification, I don’t said that Thailand don’t have a chance, I said that Thailand until now has shown weaker performance than in 2015. They cannot defeat the Asean neighbors that are Vietnam and Malaysia easily like they did in 2015.
5. About the team’s “performance/main results” and the Fifa ranking you keep on talking about. Well, Thailand fifa ranking improved but how much? Like up 10 ranks? And from when? 2019? The ranking improve but just in a very recent period and not by much. It may very well go down soon. The ranking is not a reliable thing to talk about a team’s performance. Their performance in Asian Cup and WC qualification all together IS NOT BETTER THAN 10 YEARS AGO. Nowadays, Thailand even have more draws and losts meeting Asean teams Aka mainly Vietnam and Malaysia. Their crown in Asean is being in the risk, while their performance in Asia’s level has not improved much. That’s why I make the title “THE DECAYING CROWN”. The title is suitable UNTIL NOW. Do you understand?Trung tá Moore (talk) 08:52, 11 February 2020 (UTC)Reply

1. You said "Well, AFF Championship are minor to the world not to Thailand Up until, say 2017, southeast Asia level is what Thailand focused on and exceled at. Asia level" That is only your opinion but for FA Thailand, AFF Championship are minor tournament and AFC Asian cup are major tournament , FA Thailand focused on Asia major tournament with main players squad, i already explain to you before with reference. You said "Thailand move on but with only 4 points = the same with 2007 Asian Cup, but this time a little bit luckier" 2007 Asian Cup our team can't get to knockout round but in 2019 Thailand enough to move on to the knockout stage of the AFC Asian Cup for the first time in 47 years, why you said "just luckier to get to knockout round in 2019" it's not luckier because our player deserve to the knockout stage, our team has improve much, So the topic title should be about Rebuilding to achieve in Asia’s level

2. You said "Thailand’s progress in the Asian Cup isn’t big" but for FA Thailand 2019 Asian Cup is big move of Thailand national football team

3. You said "Thailand hasn’t shown much improve in Asia’s level." from performance Thailand enough to move on to the knockout stage of the AFC Asian Cup for the first time in 47 years, that shown Thailand improve in Asia's level from the past.

4. 2022 WC qualification, it still have 3 match for thailand national team to play

5. You said "The ranking is not a reliable thing to talk about a team’s performance." No, you have got it wrong. you shall go to learn from FIFA World Ranking system (2006–2018) wikipedia page, The ranking is a reliable thing to talk about a team’s performance.

That’s why you can't use “THE DECAYING CROWN” for the title of content
