If you have a close connection to some of the people, places or things you have written about in the article Alfa Castaldi, you may have a conflict of interest. In keeping with Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy, edits where there is a conflict of interest, or where such a conflict might reasonably be inferred from the tone of the edit and the proximity of the editor to the subject, are strongly discouraged. If you have a conflict of interest, you should avoid or exercise great caution when:
- editing articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with;
- participating in deletion discussions about articles related to your organization or its competitors;
- linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam);
- and you must always:
- avoid breaching relevant policies and guidelines, especially neutral point of view, verifiability, and autobiography.

editHello, please let me understand how to correct a situation that I found has become a bit embarassing.
I might have a conflict of interest in setting up a wiki page about Alfa Castaldi, being his son, but I'm also the curator of the Archives and it happened that I stumbled upon the Anna Piaggi page on Wikipedia and found a link to Alfa Castaldi pointing to a blank page.
So I signed up and inserted the biography text we have on the archive site at [1].
Then it was tagged: (Articles lacking sources from January 2008 | All articles lacking sources | Articles with topics of unclear notability from January 2008 | All pages needing to be wikified | Wikify from January 2008 | Wikipedia articles needing style editing from January 2008 | Wikipedia articles with possible conflicts of interest).
So I changed the text trying to meet the tone and style standards that I found on the Wiki help but it didn't help.
So please help me understand how to: establish notability, wikify, resolve the 'conflict' and so forth.
Even if I happen to have a good knowledge of english as an italian, It's really not clear what has to be done.
Thanks, Pcastaldi (talk) 22:28, 20 January 2008 (UTC)
- Hi Pcastaldi, I've tidied the article, and removed the tags. Addhoc (talk) 23:43, 20 January 2008 (UTC)
