License tagging for Image:Dandenongpic30.JPG edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Dandenongpic30.JPG. Wikipedia gets hundreds of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 11:05, 29 May 2006 (UTC)

Amateur radio edit

Please read WP:EL and WP:OR and WP:NOT about the use of links. No matter how relevant, we cannot promote blogs, tapes, or websites. Also while the echolink information is relevant, it doesn't deserve an entire paragraph. It already exists in the article and was trimmed to be in balance with other digital modes. - LuckyLouie 17:05, 4 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

NowCommons: File:100 2392.jpg edit

File:100 2392.jpg is now available on Wikimedia Commons as Commons:File: Drive-in theatre.jpg. This is a repository of free media that can be used on all Wikimedia wikis. The image will be deleted from Wikipedia, but this doesn't mean it can't be used anymore. You can embed an image uploaded to Commons like you would an image uploaded to Wikipedia, in this case: [[File: Drive-in theatre.jpg]]. Note that this is an automated message to inform you about the move. This bot did not copy the image itself. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 10:19, 2 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

The article List of active drive-in theatres in Australia has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Wikipedia is not a directory

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 19:47, 4 January 2011 (UTC)Reply
