Hello, I'm DBigXray. I noticed that you made one or more changes to an article, List of Aligarh Muslim University alumni, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Aligarh

edit

Hello. Your recent edit to Aligarh appears to have added the name of a non-notable entity to a list that normally includes only notable entries. In general, a person, organization or product added to a list should have a pre-existing article before being added to most lists. If you wish to create such an article, please first confirm that the subject qualifies for a separate, stand-alone article according to Wikipedia's notability guideline. Thank you. - Arjayay (talk) 17:28, 2 January 2019 (UTC)Reply

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Aligarh. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Repeated vandalism may result in the loss of editing privileges.
The need for an article before adding a name to that list was explained above. To re-add such a name is disruptive editing - Arjayay (talk) 14:38, 22 July 2019 (UTC)Reply

The need for a person to have an article on the English Wikipedia, before they can be included in a list of people from a town or other settlement is a specific requirement - we are not interested in who they are, or how many references you provide - NO ARTICLE = NO INCLUSION. Please do not re-add any names without articles, or you may end up being blocked. - Thank you - Arjayay (talk) 14:43, 22 July 2019 (UTC)Reply

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, discussion pages are meant to be a record of a discussion; deleting or editing legitimate comments, as you did at WP:TH, is considered bad practice, even if you meant well. Even making spelling and grammatical corrections in others' comments is generally frowned upon, as it tends to irritate the users whose comments you are correcting. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Masum Reza📞 14:59, 22 July 2019 (UTC)Reply

Khandelwal

edit

Hello. You again added a non-notable topic to a list, this time at the page Khandelwal. Please do not add an item to a list article unless the topic you're adding already has a standalone article to link to. Thank you. --Drm310 🍁 (talk) 00:38, 23 July 2019 (UTC)Reply
