Image:InsideAgraFort.jpg

I would like to draw attention to the text below the photo labeled 'InsideAgraFort.jpg' as seen on the Wikipedia's 'Red Fort at Agra' page. It states that the photograph was taken at Khas Mahal. This is incorrect as this location is known as the Musamman Burj, where Shahjahan spent the last seven years of his life under house arrest by his son Aurganzeb.L1CENSET0K1LL 05:59, 6 January 2006 (UTC)

I don't understand what use my attention is to you, since this is nothing to do with me. If you're certain the information is incorrect, why not just change it yourself? --Paul A 04:21, 8 January 2006 (UTC)

I have changed the text in the photo uploaded onto the Red Fort page, however only the user who uploaded the file onto Wikipedia can edit the summary text (where the description is located) on the image page. --L1CENSET0K1LL 10:45, 8 January 2006 (UTC)

That's not true, in my experience. The summary text on an image page can be edited the same as any other page. --Paul A 03:40, 9 January 2006 (UTC)

In the red

G'day Paul,

I thought you might like to know that an article you recently created (after a fashion), in the red, is up for deletion. fuddlemark (fuddle me!) 09:49, 20 January 2006 (UTC)

WikiProject

Hi, Paul! I'm looking for people who might be interested in a WikiProject for the family of articles comprising children's and young adult literature coverage, and you've been interested in many of these pages. I've made a proposal for a WikiProject, and I encourage you to view/edit the proposal and sign up if you like. It would be great to put an organised effort into rethinking these pages.

Thanks for the comment. And for the ridiculously embarassing reveal, which I have now fixed. That's what I get for cut and paste. *headdesk*

Marty Feldman

Hi Paul. I was wondering about the source for your assertion that Marty Feldman was an active member of the Communist Party of Great Britain. Can you please provide a source for that before I restore it? Thanks. Danny 19:29, 14 March 2006 (UTC)

My what? That was in the article before ever I touched it. You want this edit. --Paul A 04:45, 23 March 2006 (UTC)

Category:Science fiction novels by milieu proposed for renaming and merger

I thought you may be interested in this vote. Linkto vote can be found in the category article.--Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus Talk 17:22, 1 May 2006 (UTC) I'd appreciate your comments to my question on this same section.

Oh, btw— saw the section above on Horatio Hornblower. If you need a good quick and dirty spell check, CTRL-A, CTRL-X the edit window. Paste into a email window like MS 'Outlook Express', spell check it, and do the same in reverse. Then finish your edit. I do it all the time. Should work in a word processor or with MS Wordpad as well.

The Origin of the Name Mephistopheles

Hi Paul,

I see you did the article on the origin of the name. I had ideas about sizable changes in the article. These, I have put at the bottom of the Discussion section of that article [[1]]. Since I agree with Wikipedia that, as much as possible, there should be consensus. I wanted to know what you thought of my proposed changes first.

Category:Lists of fictional characters

Thanks for your efforts in subcategorizing this category. I had been thinking about doing so myself, but so far had just managed to get the alphabetization correct. I'll see what else I can do there to help. Matchups 11:29, 21 May 2006 (UTC)

I noticed that you hadn't moved the two movie top-100 lists from the main category to the ...by medium category. If this was intentional, perhaps there should be a comment added, so future editors will consider this. If an oversight, I'd be happy to move them. Matchups 03:45, 8 June 2006 (UTC)

I'm still undecided whether to do that or to have another category called something like "Lists of characters who have been considered the best ever", which would also include 100 Best Characters in Fiction Since 1900. What do you think? --Paul A 03:48, 8 June 2006 (UTC)
I would go with "Lists of characters by awards" (or something like that) a bit more general than just "best ever;" it would include "worst ever," or best of the year, etc. And once it goes off the main page, I'd advocate putting it in the "by medium" category as well, in case anybody is looking there for movie lists. "Capital letters"

alright then... whatever. (SKITTLES 21:47, 9 June 2006 (UTC))

Sf-story-stub

Howdy! I noted your interest at WPSS, and wanted to let you know that {{sf-story-stub}} and Category:Science fiction short story stubs have been created. Happy sorting. Cheers, Her Pegship 02:22, 26 June 2006 (UTC)
