Speedy deletion nomination of Duego

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Duego requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.) or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. LivitEh?/What? 15:47, 14 February 2012 (UTC)Reply

Easy Taxi

edit

Hello, I'm Deb. I wanted to let you know that I undid one or more of your recent contributions because it appeared to be promotional. Advertising and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox" are against Wikipedia policy and not permitted. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you.

Hi Deb,

I used more than 40 sources quoting websites such as TechCrunch and e27 when preparing this article. The app is the biggest taxi booking platform in the world - it's definitely worth mentioning. Please share examples of promotional language used in the article. Everything was backed by examples.

I've moved the article to your user space for you to work on. You might consider removing the following statements, none of which is backed up by references:
"The app allows users to easily, with one-click, request for a taxi and track it in real time."
"has since rapidly gained worldwide popularity"
"other investors, including Millicon and private angel investors secure Easy Taxi's foothold in emerging markets"
"Easy Taxi is available in 11 languages – English, Portuguese, Spanish, Korean, Thai, Traditional Chinese, Tagalog, Malaysian, Vietnamese, Arabic, and Urdu. The language and currency settings are adjusted automatically based on the language detected in the phone."
"Easy Taxi has pioneered the social responsibility programs for the taxi industry worldwide."
And then you could try reading Wikipedia:Neutral point of view for further assistance.Deb (talk) 10:47, 5 December 2013 (UTC)Reply
I've highlighted some problem sentences and made minor corrections to the English but I haven't got much time to look at it now. Deb (talk) 15:56, 18 February 2014 (UTC)Reply

Hi, Paul

Sorry that I overlooked this. I would really like you to get a second opinion on the current version. Why not submit it at Wikipedia:Articles for creation? Deb (talk) 09:27, 7 March 2014 (UTC)Reply

Your submission at AfC Easy Taxi was accepted

Easy Taxi, which you submitted to Articles for creation, has been created.

You are more than welcome to continue making quality contributions to Wikipedia. Note that because you are a logged-in user, you can create articles yourself, and don't have to post a request. However, you may continue submitting work to Articles for Creation if you prefer.

Thank you for helping improve Wikipedia!
