Hi PoD. I am sorry you seem to disagree with my interpretation of WP:BLPSOURCES there. Normally I value healthy disagreement but this is one of the very few solid "rules" Wikipedia has. I liked what you did with the BBC source; if you believe it is vital to include the opinion of Hastings something like this would be the way forward. I would not recommend edit-warring with me when I am wearing my admin hat, as I am here. Please don't. --John (talk) 19:06, 4 December 2014 (UTC)

You are misinterpreting BLPSOURCES, which says "all quotations and any material challenged or likely to be challenged" - nobody is going to challenge a quote from a tabloid source when the person writing the quote is the person who made the quote. There is nothing in Wikipedia policy which suggests that a tabloid source cannot be considered a reliable source for its own editorial opinion. You're simply wrong. You should know by now that I couldn't care less what tools anyone has and I find your implied threat rather sickening, but I'll still be reverting you. I suggest you speak to someone who understands the issue. Parrot of Doom 21:03, 4 December 2014 (UTC)
Oh, he's threatened you as well, has he? It seems that threats have replaced reasoned discussion. No matter - he's totally and absolutely wrong. Emeraude (talk) 22:40, 4 December 2014 (UTC)
(talk page stalker) He threatens a lot of people. -Roxy the dog™ (resonate) 09:33, 8 December 2014 (UTC)

In other words, "watch what you're saying or we'll stop you saying it". I wonder what your committee has to say about threats like this? Parrot of Doom 09:20, 13 December 2014 (UTC)
Sooner or later, threats like that'll get him into bother. He's one of the most arrogant and badly behaved admins I've come across. When you consider that he is supposed to act on behalf of normal editors, he wields the mop like a cudgel, and ought to be stopped. Can't see it happening in the short term though, more is the pity. -Roxy the dog™ (resonate) 12:56, 13 December 2014 (UTC)
I notice that elsewhere you have referred to John as "a nasty piece of work", a "piece of shit", a "smarmy little hypocrite" and a "bully". Not necessarily what I would have written myself, but I concur. Emeraude (talk) 13:58, 16 December 2014 (UTC)
