I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. Again, welcome!  —C.Fred (talk) 02:16, 28 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

With regards to your comments on User:Dandebur: Please see Wikipedia's no personal attacks policy. Comment on content, not on contributors. Personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Note that continued personal attacks will lead to blocks for disruption. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. Thank you. —C.Fred (talk) 02:16, 28 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

I'm sorry Fred.I just didn't understand. You're right.I did lose my cool.Try to contain it in future.I just hate the vandalsim so much.People don't appreciate how valuable Wikipedia is.How do I patrol?I have the badge but no gun,so to speak.
Perhaps before you try to patrol you should take some time to learn the lay of the land first. Leaving warning comments over edits that are three months old, leaving personal attacks in the warnings, and overloading a user page (not even the user talk!) are not good ways to start. —C.Fred (talk) 02:32, 28 June 2007 (UTC)Reply
Do you not want me to be a part of this,is that it? I can take it.Give it to me straight Fred.
As I said, make sure you know the guidelines and how things are done before you jump too far in. For instance, talk page comments should be signed with four tildes (~~~~). I would suggest contributing to some articles and getting familiar with things before you go too far along. That said, if you see obvious vandalism, fix it, and if it's recent, warn the person who did it. But when in doubt, just clean it up as an ill-advised good-faith edit. —C.Fred (talk) 02:42, 28 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Your Barnstars edit

Hi PaddyLove,

I am right now pretty shocked that you put all of that barnstars your self on your user page. Barnstars are given by other users, not themselves. H irohisatTalk Page 08:10, 6 July 2007 (UTC) Reply

PaddyLove, I do not mean to offend you, but I'm just pointing out that barnstars are not to be given by themselves. Also, I am not abusing any power, and if you were to complain, tell any of the Administrators. Hirohisat Talk 20:31, 16 July 2007 (UTC)Reply
I have to apologize to you. My messages sounded a bit of a personal attack when I read it myself, and I consulted one of my friends. They thought it was a little bit of a attack, and I chose to take their advice. I hope you will forgive me, and be friends in the future. Sincerely, Hirohisat Talk @ 21:13, 16 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

WP:CVU status edit

The Wikipedia:Counter-Vandalism Unit project is under consideration to be moved to {{inactive}} and/or {{historical}} status. Another proposal is to delete or redirect the project. You have been identified as a project member and your input as to this matter would be welcomed at WT:CVU#Inactive.3F and at the deletion debate. Thank you! Greetings Recent Changes Patrollers!

This is a one-time-only message to inform you about technical proposals related to Recent Changes Patrol in the 2016 Community Wishlist Survey that I think you may be interested in reviewing and perhaps even voting for:

  2. Editor-focused central editing dashboard
  3. "Hide trusted users" checkbox option on watchlists and related/recent changes (RC) pages
  4. Real-Time Recent Changes App for Android
  5. Shortcut for patrollers to last changes list

Further, there are more than 20 proposals related to Watchlists in general that you may be interested in reviewing. (and over 260 proposals in all, across many aspects of wikis)

Thank you for your consideration. Please note that voting for proposals continues through December 12, 2016.

Note: You received this message because you have transcluded {{User wikipedia/RC Patrol}} (user box) on your user page. Since this message is "one-time-only" there is no opt out for future mailings.
