Welcome edit

Welcome!
Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. The following links will help you begin editing on Wikipedia:

Please bear these points in mind while editing Wikipedia:

  • Please respect others' copyrights; do not copy and paste the contents from webpages directly.
  • Please use a neutral point of view when editing articles; this is possibly the most important Wikipedia policy.
  • If you are testing, please use the Sandbox to do so.
  • Do not add unreasonable contents into any articles, such as: copyrighted text, advertisement messages, and text that is not related to an article's subject. Adding such unreasonable information or otherwise editing articles maliciously is considered vandalism, and will result in your account being blocked.

The Wikipedia Tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and vote pages using three tildes, like this: ~~~. Four tildes (~~~~) produces your name and the current date. Again, welcome!

Blocked edit

PROWARRIOR, I have blocked your account indefinitely. There is ample justification for such a block, as you are making it clear that you have no intention of respecting our policies. However, indefinite does not have to mean permanent: it is entirely up to you. While you are blocked, you are still able to post on this page, but not on any other. I asked you to read WP:NPOV before making any other edits, whether to articles or to talk pages. You deleted my request, and continued to make extremely controversial edits. It's considered rude to remove other editors' posts from your talk page, unless they are clearly personal attacks. Nevertheless, if you want to remove mine, I have no problem. I am very much against the practice of harassing an editor by repeatedly restoring comments that he has removed from his talk page. Once you remove them, I accept that you have seen them, and I see no reason to force you to keep them displayed. The removal of other people's comments from article talk pages, on the other hand, is a complete no-no.

If you would like to edit Wikipedia, please read the WP:NPOV page, and then indicate on this page that you have done so and that you intend to respect that policy. There is a place for pro-life editors here — I'm one myself. But all we do is ensure that an article does not argue in favour of the pro-choice movement. If we try to make it argue in favour of the pro-life movement, we're violating policy.

I'll watch for your response, and will unblock you if you indicate that you have read that policy and intend to respect it. AnnH 22:20, 6 December 2006 (UTC)Reply
