A tag has been placed on Greek Naval Station of Salamis Island, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:

This page is incorrecty written, unsourced, and it looks as though it is a hoax.

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet very basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as an appropriate article, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is appropriate, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Dreamy \*/!$! 13:32, 15 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Regarding the above, you do not just remove the tag: if you contest the deletion, you explain the reason at Talk:Greek Naval Station of Salamis Island. Gordonofcartoon 15:21, 15 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

I WALK ALONE

edit

OK; if you are not a sockpuppet of Float954, then prove it by replying to other editors and by following Wikipedia rules. Stop removing other users' comments. Stop removing cleanup tags without fixing the problem. Whoever you are, this behaviour will get you blocked sooner or later.

It is not shameful that English is not your first language. However, it's clear that the text you supplied for Salamis Naval Base is mostly a machine translation of Ναύσταθμος Σαλαμίνας at the Greek Wikipedia. Machine translations are not good, and so the article needs cleanup. Gordonofcartoon 16:21, 17 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

This image is a copyright violation. The photo was taken in 1944. Also the image is scanned from a magazine or newspaper (the text on the back page of the sheet is clearly visible). The copyright holder is not the person who uploaded the image (User:PKIOPADDE), so he cannot release it to the public domain.
