December 2020 edit

Hello, I'm Aoi. Your recent edit(s) to the page Nicktoons (American TV channel) appear to have added incorrect information, so they have been removed for now. If you believe the information was correct, please cite a reliable source or discuss your change on the article's talk page. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Aoi (青い) (talk) 19:20, 15 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

Welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contributions. I am glad to see that you are discussing a topic. However, as a general rule, talk pages such as Talk:NickRewind are for discussion related to improving (a) an encyclopedia article in specific ways based on reliable sources or (b) project policies and guidelines. They are not for general discussion about the article topic or unrelated topics, or statements based on your thoughts or feelings. If you have specific questions about certain topics, consider visiting our reference desk and asking them there instead of on article talk pages. Thank you.   Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at The Ren & Stimpy Show. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you. Julietdeltalima (talk) 19:55, 21 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

Is this really necessary? edit

Hi PBSKidsFan2006,

there had been a report at WP:AIV about your edits, but I have removed it for now because you are clearly editing in good faith.

I've had a look at your user page and noticed the following sentence:

Im currently new to wikipedia so please users if i do any cussing or vandlism or bad words Dont terminate me please im only new to this and dont know the rules so please im warning you, DONT REMOVE MY EDITS FROM ANY WIKIPEDIAS, As Currently Im a great Wikipedia user (...)

Well.

PBSKidsFan2006, when you wrote this sentence, you have predicted that other editors might find your edits problematic enough to "terminate" the account. First of all, we don't do that. Sometimes, users are blocked from editing for a while because their contributions are disruptive, but this is never done to punish an editor. If it happens, it is done to prevent further disruption, not as a punishment. There is a detailed blocking policy, but you don't have to read through that.

What I'd like to ask you to read, however, is Wikipedia:Guidance for younger editors. And I'd like to ask you to stop editing for a while. Perhaps a week or two. Perhaps a month or two. In the meantime, please take the time to have a look at the verifiability policy. Please take at least 24 hours to carefully consider if you are actually interested in contributing to a complex encyclopedia with detailed, complicated policies and thousands of obstacles.

If the above message seems to be overly complicated and uninteresting, please do not edit Wikipedia yet. It's likely too early, and we'd like to welcome you back in a few years.

Best regards,
~ ToBeFree (talk) 21:33, 21 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of PBS Kids Family Night edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on PBS Kids Family Night, requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which pages can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly-defined criteria, then it may soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Your account has been blocked indefinitely from editing because of the following problems: the account has been used for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia, and your username indicates that the account represents a business, organisation, group, or web site, which is against the username policy.

You may request a change of name and unblock if you intend to make useful contributions other than promoting your business or organization. To do this, first search Special:CentralAuth for available usernames that comply with the username policy. Once you have found an acceptable username, post the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with your new username and replace the text "Your reason here" with your reasons to be unblocked. In your reasons, you must:

  • Disclose any compensation you may receive for your contributions in accordance with the Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure requirement.
  • Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked.
  • Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked.
Appeals: If, after reviewing the guide to appealing blocks you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal it by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your reason here" with the reasons you believe the block was an error, and publish the page.
