If I could chime in here, Emotionalllama: Thanks for your interest in the article Oakland Technical High School. But I wanted to let you know I have removed the "refimprove" tag you added, and I disagree with the warnings to Otwebmaster above. In such lists of "notable alumni", "notable professors", etc., it is not generally considered necessary to have a reference for every entry. It is generally considered to be enough if the person has a Wikipedia article (thus demonstrating notability) and the Wikipedia article mentions the school. --MelanieN (talk) 17:25, 18 February 2016 (UTC)

MelanieN: The ones I removed (for instance here and here) did not have articles and therefore they didn't demonstrate notability. As Otwebmaster continued to readd names without articles, I placed a tag on that section about needing references. Emotionalllama (talk) 19:31, 18 February 2016 (UTC)

Articles are needed; references aren't. You might be confusing this editor (as you did me) by conflating the two ideas. But I'll keep an eye on the article too, to make sure that people listed actually are notable. --MelanieN (talk) 20:10, 18 February 2016 (UTC)
