Civility
editI have noticed you have made some comments on talk pages that could be construed as incivil. Please remain WP:CIVILcivil and stay cool when discussing issues. Thank you! --Ginkgo100 talk · e@ 19:57, 24 October 2006 (UTC)
Here are the comments from that discussion restored here.
- Draky (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · nuke contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log) This user added a lot of links spam and incorrect statements onto the XennoBB talk page. He also stated that his only intent is to leave the comments so they cannot be removed (his statements are based on a blog post). - Osgiliath 19:46, 24 October 2006 (UTC)
- unsure about this, discussions on talk pages is not a reason to block. Reporting user is engaged in ongoing dispute with Draky. --Oscarthecat 19:50, 24 October 2006 (UTC)
- Ok so I can add to somebody's page that he's a pedophyle and that comment will stay? I'd say this is a serious problem... - Osgiliath 19:53, 24 October 2006 (UTC)
- It may well be a violation of any number of Wiki rules including WP:NPA, WP:CIV, and WP:AGF, but it's not vandalism. If you wish, take this to the "incidents" portion of the Administrator's Noticeboard.
And my response: You might want to read WP:VANDAL to get a definition of what is considered vandalism and what isn't. The dispute resolution process might be a better outlet for you. I removed the discussion from WP:AIV because it was not relevant. --Ginkgo100 talk · e@ 20:05, 24 October 2006 (UTC)
