About my alias edit

I am an independent song writer, singer and rapper.

I was a founding member of the original four-peice Adelaide band Blind Freddy. I coined the terms Digga and Skip Hop when I was rapping in that band. Actually it's more like a revival from the old Australian WWI-era equivalent for friend or peer (traditionaly spelled "digger").

I borrowed the term but changed the spelling to align with the Hip Hop word spelled similarly but beggining with "n". The reasons are to differentiate my own music from the American form, and because the word "digga" carries no racist overtones. I also felt the expression deserved to come back into general useage.

These terms have also been used extensively by my former Blind Freddy bandmate Jason in his own songs. He now fronts the original Skip Hop band J-Hoe.

Zabulon vs. Zavulon edit

It's spelled Zabulon in the books, but Zavulon in the movies. The consensus was the articles should follow the spelling of their subject. - Richfife (talk) 07:02, 14 January 2008 (UTC)Reply
