Proposed deletion of Yuuka Koizumi

edit

The article Yuuka Koizumi has been proposed for deletion because under Wikipedia policy, all biographies of living persons created after March 18, 2010, must have at least one source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't take offense. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners or ask at Wikipedia:Help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. — Timneu22 · talk 10:32, 8 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

Hi, Optimusnorm. I see you're new here and attempting to work in the area of Japanese adult entertainment. It's a tricky area to work in, due to Wikipedia's sourcing and "notability" demands (among other things), but User talk:Cherryblossom1982 and I have been contributing to this field without much trouble for a couple years. You might want to take a look at Wikipedia:Notability, Wikipedia:Identifying reliable sources and Wikipedia:Verifiability to get some idea of a couple major guidline/policies. Template:Japanese erotic cinema will point you to some of the work that has already been done in this field. Feel free to use any of this work as a template/guide. As a general rule of thumb to prevent deletion of work: Try to start articles only on subjects with either a lot of "reliable" sourcing and commentary, or with a major award. Also, free to ask for help. Welcome, and happy editing! Dekkappai (talk) 18:23, 8 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

Hi, I've made a few additions and added some sources to Yui tatsumi and I see that Dekkappai has as well. Add any other sourced material you can find and we'll try to keep the deletion-happy crowd away. BTW the Japanese Wikipedia is not considered a "reliable" source (nor is the English Wiki) so don't quote it directly, try to find other sources for statements you find there. Once again, welcome!
