Request for AWB

edit

Hi Openedknowledge! I see you requested access for AWB on Wikipedia talk:AutoWikiBrowser/Feature requests. That page is to ask the developers to add more features to the software, so I reverted your edit. Please note that Wikipedia:AutoWikiBrowser#Using this software says "As a general rule, only users with more than 500 mainspace edits will be registered." Feel free to follow the directions to request AWB access after you've made more manual edits. Happy editing! GoingBatty (talk) 13:01, 8 September 2013 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Ultra-Orthodox Jews (Social Group)

edit

Hello Openedknowledge,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Ultra-Orthodox Jews (Social Group) for deletion, because it appears to duplicate an existing Wikipedia article, [[:{{{article}}}]].

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. ☾Loriendrew☽ (talk) 23:37, 9 September 2013 (UTC)Reply

Ignore that, I deleted the speedy deletion--☾Loriendrew☽ (talk) 23:39, 9 September 2013 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Haredi education, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Litvak (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 11:05, 14 September 2013 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for highlighting this issue. I have now corrected the link. --Openedknowledge (talk) 15:03, 14 September 2013 (UTC)Reply

Nomination of Ultra-Orthodox Jews (Social Group) for deletion

edit

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Ultra-Orthodox Jews (Social Group) is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Ultra-Orthodox Jews (Social Group) until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.

Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article. Ypnypn (talk) 16:21, 27 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Haredi education

edit

The article Haredi education has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Article appears to have little content that would qualify as its own subject. Perhaps the subject can be summarized in Jewish education or Haredi Judaism. Litigation paragraphs may qualify for their own articles, but not one with this title.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
