Disambiguation link notification for January 12 edit

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited List of Hogan's Heroes episodes, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Bernard Fox (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. December 2015 edit

Greetings. At least one of your recent edits contributed colours that were not WCAG 2 AAA Compliant, causing problems for users that have accessibility issues, which must be reverted or removed. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about this at WP:COLOR and Template talk:Infobox television season#Colour, which provide further information about contributing compliant colours to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make some test edits, please use the sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. Ah! So you must be pals with drovethrughosts, the dog-in-the-manger whose territory evidently includes these Boardwalk Empire articles, and you're trying to tell me that the five colors he has used (black, very dark gray, very dark red-brown, very dark gray-green, and dark brown) have better contrast characteristics for visually impaired readers than the five I chose (which, by the way, were intended to show some respect for the original color's congruence with the "dark" esthetic of the TV series itself). I'm not buying it. The more Wikipedia becomes a bastion of petty officiousness of this ilk, the more creativity, vitality and just plain willingness to make improvements will be driven away (along with financial contributions, like mine for this year), and the more Wikipedia will shrivel to the level of irrelevancy of the 1911 Britannica on which so much of it is based. Don't worry, I won't bother to try again. I'm sure there are plenty of other tin-pot dictators lurking around in there to find some "standard" to block my contributions. Congratulations on all your vast, overweening "authority"! OofyProsser (talk) 10:05, 27 December 2015 (UTC)Reply
