a bug?

edit

It is currently said: "The data stored in a quantum register {\displaystyle |a\rangle } |a\rangle can be mathematically described as the tensor product of {\displaystyle n} n qubit..." But that is surely not the general state of a quantum register.Tal Mor (talk) 11:13, 7 December 2016 (UTC)Reply

Now written more clearly: It is currently said that "The data stored in a quantum register   can be mathematically described as the tensor product of   qubits  ". However, a general state is not a tensor product, so either write the basis only or the general state (unless something else is meant here? E.g. to clarify the diff from a classical register in a pure state?)Tal Mor (talk) 11:16, 7 December 2016 (UTC)Reply

Another point - counting possiblities

edit

When claiming that a quantum state has exponential number of possibilities, one must clarify we are talking about comparing a pure classical state and a pure quantum state.Tal Mor (talk) 11:17, 7 December 2016 (UTC)Reply

Please see modification in the page in the beginning of "Quantum vs. Classical Register" section and tell me what you think. Omrika (talk) 16:13, 7 December 2016 (UTC)Reply
