RE:Shabbat Shalom, again! edit

Ciao Omer. Yes, you do have a problem with Italian (not your fault, given your admirable goodwill) and it:wiki cannot accept poor Italian text contributions within its pages (a policy observed by all wikis, naturally) -- Gac is an administrator and, on patrolling, noticed the problem... He also sent you a message on your "it:Discussioni utente:Omert33". I'll go through the page and see if I can fix the text, taking the original paragraphs from the corresponding English article. Keep well.--Monozigote (talk) 20:49, 18 September 2015 (UTC)Reply

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Disambiguation link notification for March 28 edit

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Yoav Avni, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Jewish Journal. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

The article You Are The Universe (book) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

This article does not meet the Notability (books). Ref: The book has been the subject of two or more non-trivial published works appearing in sources that are independent of the book itself. This includes published works in all forms, such as newspaper articles, other books, television documentaries, bestseller lists, and reviews. This excludes media re-prints of press releases, flap copy, or other publications where the author, its publisher, agent, or other self-interested parties advertise or speak about the book.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. TopCipher 09:25, 3 March 2017 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of You Are The Universe (book) edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on You Are The Universe (book), requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. March 2017 edit

Thank you for your contributions. Please mark your edits, such as your recent edits to Deepak Chopra, as "minor" only if they are minor edits. In accordance with Help:Minor edit, a minor edit is one that the editor believes requires no review and could never be the subject of a dispute. Minor edits consist of things such as typographical corrections, formatting changes or rearrangement of text without modification of content. Additionally, the reversion of clear-cut vandalism and test edits may be labeled "minor". Thank you. Alexbrn (talk) 16:39, 3 March 2017 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of You Are the Universe (disambiguation) edit

A tag has been placed on You Are the Universe (disambiguation) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G6 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an orphaned disambiguation page which either

  • disambiguates two or fewer extant Wikipedia pages and whose title ends in "(disambiguation)" (i.e., there is a primary topic); or
  • disambiguates no (zero) extant Wikipedia pages, regardless of its title.

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such pages may be deleted at any time. Please see the disambiguation page guidelines for more information.

Talia Rahimi edit

Shalom, Omer. Please see Talk:Talia Rahimi#Higher education and occupation about content that article lacks in both its English and Hebrew editions. I've made one edit to remove three categories requiring support on the page. In fact, with two titles published in Hebrew only, the subject may not be considered notable for inclusion in the English Wikipedia. As I'm an Inclusionist editor here, I'd rather see the page improved, especially in documenting the background of an author of children's and youth literature. You're welcome to contact me for consultation. -- Cheers, Deborahjay (talk) 19:22, 14 March 2017 (UTC)Reply

File:The Orville.jpg edit

Hi, I'm RonBot, a script that checks new non-free file uploads. I have found that the subject image that you recently uploaded was more than 5% in excess of the Non-free content guideline size of 100,000 pixels. I have tagged the image for a standard reduction, which (for jpg/gif/png/svg files) normally happens within a day. Please check the reduced image, and make sure that the image is not excessively corrupted. Other files will be added to Category:Wikipedia non-free file size reduction requests for manual processing. There is a full seven-day period before the original oversized image will be hidden; during that time you might want to consider editing the original image yourself (perhaps an initial crop to allow a smaller reduction or none at all). A formula for calculation the desired size can be found at WP:Image resolution, along with instructions on how to tag the image in the rare cases that it requires an oversized image (typically about 0.2% of non-free uploads are tagged as necessarily oversized). Please contact the bot owner if you have any questions, or you can ask them at Wikipedia talk:Non-free content. See User:RonBot for info on how to not get these messages. Yoram Taharlev's Photo edit

Hello Omer,

You removed the photo a while back, and I'm trying to re-upload it -- I took the photo, and would appreciate it if you can somehow point me in the right direction as to releasing it and so on. I really think I checked all the boxes allowing it's use, confirming it's my own work and so on -- what am I missing?

Thanks! -- Daniel DanielTahar (talk) 00:49, 16 November 2018 (UTC)Reply

@DanielTahar: Hi, Daniel. For the record, I didn't remove anything. I don't do that. At the time I saw that it was removed (by somebody else) and so I turned to somebody who took a photo of him and asked her if she would be willing to upload it and she did and afterwards, I took the photo she uploaded and used it. --Omer Toledano (talk) 05:08, 16 November 2018 (UTC)Reply
