February 2019 edit

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for advertising or promotion. From your contributions, this seems to be your only purpose.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  MER-C 16:10, 24 February 2019 (UTC)Reply

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

The intention of the published article was not for spam or advertising much less promotion. I am an independent user who receives no direct benefit from advertising, spamming nor self-promotion.I would like to apologize if my first attempt at an article sounded promotional. I am a new user and want to learn and continue to contribute more to wikipedia as my learning progresses. I would like to know if there is a better process for getting help to make sure the content being published meets the wikipedia guidelines. Again my only intention is to provide factual information about a online magazine that covers several technologies across multiple business. Please let me know if there is anything I can provide on my end to prove that there is no commercial intent. I want to integrate to the wikipedia community by contributing in multiple areas of my expertise. Please point me to the most appropriate way of learning to the different levels of posting step by step for the ignorant as myself. Thanks Omac049Omac049 (talk) 15:18, 23 April 2019 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

I'm afraid that I do not believe for a second that someone in internet marketing was not aware they could edit Wikipedia as part of their job. Until you are honest with us about your purpose here, there is no pathway to being unblocked for you. I am declining your request. 331dot (talk) 21:15, 3 May 2019 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

What is your 'area of expertise'? You don't have to have "commercial intent" to have a conflict of interest or be a paid editor. If you are associated with this publication in any way whatsoever, it needs to be disclosed per those policies. Please understand that Wikipedia is not for merely providing information; this is not a directory of publications or businesses. Wikipedia is only interested in article subjects that have significant coverage in independent reliable sources and meet Wikipedia's special definition of notability. Articles for Creation is available for users to submit drafts for feedback and review before being formally placed in the encyclopedia. 331dot (talk) 17:28, 23 April 2019 (UTC)Reply

My Expertise is in websites and website marketing. I had no idea you can get paid to make edits to wikipedia. I will read all of your guides and learn more on the process. To understand it correctly the best possible way to create the content is to follow your guides and when posting a page its recommended to leave it in draft and ask to review? How can you request review do you have a guide for that?

Omac049

I don't think you interpreted what i wrote properly, what i stated is that i had no idea you can pay an editor to make edits- paid editor. I obviously, I know I can make edits, as I've make edits and why we are here. The issue here is that you're thinking I'm trying to use wikipedia to benefit my self because i am paid by the company or I'm associated with it... I'm not sure what type of answer you are looking for? I stated on my first unblock reviewed that I make a mistake and i am not saying it was ok, there are obvious rules i might have broken, but that was unintentional. What information do you need from me to get my account unblock. If you don't want me to edit, I get it but then give me a path to prove that I'm Being honest. Thanks, Omac049

You are free to make another unblock request that will be reviewed by someone else. You won't be unblocked if you want to edit about your organization or your clients, but if you want to edit about other subjects, please say what they are. 331dot (talk) 17:00, 9 May 2019 (UTC)Reply
