A tag has been placed on Olive Garden Guild, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be a biographical account about a person, group of people, or band, but it does not indicate how or why he/she/they is/are notable. If you can indicate why Olive Garden Guild is really notable, I advise you to edit the article promptly, and also put a note on Talk:Olive Garden Guild. Any admin should check for such edits before deleting the article. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Please read our criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 7 under Articles. You might also want to read our general biography criteria. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. To contest the tagging and request that admins should wait a while for you to assert his/her/their notability, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and then immediately add such an assertion. It is also a very good idea to add citations from reliable sources to ensure that your article will be verifiable.--Fuhghettaboutit 02:20, 4 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

This is a rising group which will soon have it's own website and more members. We currently have 13 but everyday we invite more and more people to join it. I will update the page if it is not deleted, I just dont want to have to make another one. Thank you, and I hope you consider keeping it!

Geek (Disambiguation) edit

Please do not remove Articles for deletion notices from articles or remove other people's comments in Articles for deletion pages. The notices and comments are needed to establish community consensus about the status of an article, and removing them is considered vandalism. If you oppose the deletion of an article, you may comment at the respective page instead. Thank you. --omtay38 04:00, 5 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

War Veteran edit

I have reverted the material you added to the above article and wanted to explain why it isn't appropriate. Though the name of the article is "War Veteran," it is not about war veterans in general but about a specific science fiction story. For that reason, only material about that story itself is on topic. In fact, even in an article that was about war veterans in general, a note about the number of war veterans running for office, as appearing on the Colbert Report, would be quite a random factoid. A few other notes: signing you posts is something you only do on talk pages. You should never do so upon adding material to an article proper. New text material should be placed somewhere in the main part of the article, so be careful that you post above the stub tag, and other templates that appear at the end of the article. It is also a good idea to leave an edit summary when you post material. Thanks for your understanding and happy editing.--Fuhghettaboutit 12:15, 5 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

Unlikely story, especially considering that the last vandal edits were not all that long ago. No particularily postitive edits can be found. ---- Consumed Crustacean (talk) 05:05, 29 August 2006 (UTC)Reply
