Welcome edit

Hello Oldnewland and welcome to Wikipedia! We appreciate encyclopedic contributions, but some of your contributions do not conform to our policies. For more information on this, see Wikipedia's policies on vandalism and limits on acceptable additions. If you'd like to experiment with the wiki's syntax, please do so in the sandbox rather than in articles.

If you still have questions, there is a new contributors' help page, or you can click here to ask for help on your talk page, and a volunteer should respond shortly. You may also find the following pages useful for a general introduction to Wikipedia.

I hope you enjoy editing and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. Feel free to write a note on the bottom of my talk page if you want to get in touch with me. Again, welcome! Yngvadottir (talk) 12:10, 26 February 2016 (UTC)Reply

Hi! I removed your note because you put it in the article itself. The place for such comments is the talk page of the article: Talk:Noakhali riots. You'll see there is already a section on that topic at the bottom of the page - click on "Edit" next to the section title and add your comment at the end. It would be useful if you specified what sources and content you find unacceptable. Yngvadottir (talk) 12:10, 26 February 2016 (UTC)Reply

Recent edit to Mecca Masjid bombing edit

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that you removed some content from Mecca Masjid bombing without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; I restored the removed content. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you! June 2016 edit

Hello, I'm Jim1138. I noticed that you recently removed some content from Abdul Rahman Al-Sudais  with this edit, without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Jim1138 (talk) 07:56, 17 June 2016 (UTC)Reply

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Abdul Rahman Al-Sudais. Your edits continue to appear to constitute vandalism and have been automatically reverted.

  • If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Note that human editors do monitor recent changes to Wikipedia articles, and administrators have the ability to block users from editing if they repeatedly engage in vandalism.
  • ClueBot NG makes very few mistakes, but it does happen. If you believe the change you made should not have been considered as unconstructive, please read about it, report it here, remove this warning from your talk page, and then make the edit again.
  • If you need help, please see our help pages, and if you can't find what you are looking for there, please feel free to place {{Help me}} on your talk page and someone will drop by to help.
  • The following is the log entry regarding this warning: Abdul Rahman Al-Sudais was changed by Oldnewland (u) (t) ANN scored at 0.87267 on 2016-06-17T07:57:58+00:00 .

Thank you. ClueBot NG (talk) 07:58, 17 June 2016 (UTC)Reply

July 2016 edit

Hi there! I see you removed a chunk of material about Salmann Tamimi without giving a reason. I see that not all of the material you removed is very positive about him, and it might be good to provide fuller references and perhaps edit the text for more balance. But everything that's there seems to be supported by decent sources. So I'll revert your edit, but I'd be happy to see changes that clearly improve the article, or to discuss them here. If when making future edits you could leave a note explaining why you've made them, that would be helpful. Alarichall (talk) 12:13, 21 July 2016 (UTC)Reply

I've just seen that you also removed decent-looking sections of Shri Laxmi Narayan Mandir and Islam in the Americas, again without explanation. I've also reverted these edits.

September 2016 edit

Hello, I'm Serols. I wanted to let you know that I reverted one of your recent contributions —the one you made with this edit to Shri Laxmi Narayan Mandir— because it did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Serols (talk) 14:35, 5 September 2016 (UTC)Reply

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did with this edit to Islam in the Americas. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted or removed. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Repeated vandalism can result in the loss of editing privileges. Thank you. Serols (talk) 14:35, 5 September 2016 (UTC)Reply

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did with this edit to Islam in Suriname, you may be blocked from editing. Serols (talk) 14:35, 5 September 2016 (UTC)Reply

You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you vandalize Wikipedia, as you did with this edit to Al-Quds rocket. Serols (talk) 14:36, 5 September 2016 (UTC)Reply

October 2016 edit

Hello, I'm Yintan. I noticed that in this edit to Islam in Canada, you removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Yintan  17:01, 10 October 2016 (UTC)Reply

Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did with this edit to Islam in Burkina Faso, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear constructive and has been reverted. Please make use of the sandbox if you'd like to experiment with test edits. Thank you. Yintan  17:03, 10 October 2016 (UTC)Reply

You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you vandalize Wikipedia. Yintan  17:04, 10 October 2016 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 31 hours for persistent disruptive editing. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by first reading the guide to appealing blocks, then adding the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Widr (talk) 17:10, 10 October 2016 (UTC)Reply
